"I use to love this place. Quality of food and service has gone down. Staff aren't friendly at all. The past couple of times purchased food were not put in my bag. I took the loss because I had gotten home already. This last time I made sure to look inthe bag before I walked out and of course something was missing. I expressed to the gentleman that runs the store this is notthe first time this has happened. He seemed quit annoyed with what I had to say and didn't seem a bit interested . He saidnothing and didn't even apologize!!!"

Good food and service. The salads in the fridge are delicious. Bagels are very good. Service is slow so don't expect to be in and out. Bagel Boy is a popular and busy location. I like their bagels and egg sandwiches

Until this visit, I only had bagels. I decided to have lunch and try two of the salads. The salads were amazing. The tortellini salad and shrimp and imitation crab meat salad. Looking forward to going back and trying others.

I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel, and it was fresh and delicious. This place is one of the top spots for bagels in South Brooklyn. While the service might not have been the friendliest, it suits the vibe of the neighborhood.

I really wish we lived closer to this restaurant! Our cousins are doing an amazing job! The place is spotless, offers a fantastic variety of deli meats and bagels, and everything tastes wonderful. Just be sure not to mix it up with any other Bagel Boy locations! View menu

We've been getting our bagels from this spot for several years, and we've never been let down. Their bagels are consistently fresh and fluffy. They also have a wide range of spreads to cater to everyone's preferences. If you haven't had the chance to try them yet, don't hesitate any longer. Go grab your bagels today!

I used to come to Bagel Boy every day, but I've noticed the quality has dropped a lot. The bagels are soggy, cold, and overpriced—$10 for a bagel and a drink is too much for such low quality. I wouldn’t mind paying a high price if the menu items were better, but unfortunately, they’re not. I think it’s time for me to start having breakfast at home instead.

Edit: Since my last review, the quality has noticeably declined. I've received stale bread, wrong coffee, incorrect orders, and my special requests have often been ignored. While the food still tastes good, it’s no longer deserving of a 5-star rating. Previous review: I’ve likely ordered from Bagel Boy over 100 times, trying a wide range of items beyond just the bagels. I didn’t even realize they were famous for their bagels at first. View menu

I used to love this place, but the quality of the food and service has declined. The staff are no longer friendly. On my last few visits, items I purchased weren’t even put in my bag. I didn’t say anything before because I only discovered it after I got home and accepted the loss. This time, I checked my bag before leaving and sure enough, something was missing. When I told the gentleman in charge that this isn’t the first time it’s happened, he seemed quite annoyed and uninterested in what I had to say.

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
