"take any Sunday of October in which you want to go to chestnuts, imagine that hundreds of other people have had your own idea and realize that to do little more than 60km you take about 4 hours, just the time to give up the chestnuts and go directly to the restaurant! I've known the place for many years, but the landscape is always beautiful to see! the air is sparkling, almost cold, and the hunger is felt. They make us sit in the inner room, the restaurant presents itself spartano, cheese, recalls the mountain and the agricultural world, very beautiful, really mountain and the menu does not differ much from this idea: Beautiful dishes, no fighetti here, only people who want to eat well, abundant and tasty. We would like to take everything and a little and indecision we come to the rescue of plate one and three: a first (pizzoccheri) and two seconds. Great! It's ours! What do you mean? It was a great meal! excellent quality as well as the flavor and abundance, we felt so satisfactorily that we had to wean the sweet, a beautiful tiramisu really good, not too sweet and with the coffee that felt at every mouth! perfect lamb oven, soft and succulent. good, well seasoned but not fat lace, baked cream finally does not spread in fact in the house but, horribly, industrial and therefore very appreciated. friendly and professional service.

We come to climb one hill and afterwards we stop by in this place, not an original idea (very cworwded) but worth it! The rasberry were very good euther raw or cold with icecream. We tasted also a bombardino, really phenomenal! View menu

Beautiful views and friendly restaurant serving sandwiches, pasta and the like. As we only had coffee, I cannot say anything about the quality of the food. Friendly service. Dogs are not allowed inside the restaurant. On the terrace, of course, they are.

This traditional mountain restaurant is well located on cycling tracks (road MRB) and offers a nice view on the valley. The hosts will welcome you and treat you well. The food offering remains traditional, but is more than decent, quite efficient and overall fairly priced.

"Voglio due stomaci! Prima Domenica di zona gialla, e andiamo a fare un giro sulla neve a Pian del Tivano. Avevamo prenotato in un altro posto, immaginando la confusione che ci sarebbe stato. Purtroppo i confusionari hanno parcheggiato male e la strada rimane bloccata e non possiamo tornare a Caglio. Cerchiamo un ristorante e in questo agriturismo ci permettono di metterci fuori e dato che siamo in tre famiglie ci preparano tre tavoli. Prendiamo menu bambino che viene portato subito e menu degustazione per gli adulti. Ci portano giardiniera, un po troppo 'acetosa ', nervetti morbidi e gustosi, tris di affettati buoni, insalata russa buona ma non eccezionale e poi un piattino con formaggi di capra. Quello non stagionato è fresco e piacevole, profuma di capra ma non esageratamente. Quello più stagionato è un caprino a crosta fiorita con un cuore morbido e profumatissimo. Viene accompagnato da una composta di mele cotogne realmente buonissima. Dopo un po ' arriva una polenta uncia....realmente uncia. Solo che non è farina gialla ma quella valtellinese quindi con grano saraceno. Due termine con pizzoccheri buoni, non troppo burroni e con più patate che verze. Altri due piatti con le lasagne gia porzionate dal ragù consistente e carnoso di ottima qualità. Siamo già vicini al limite ma ci viene portato un brasato da campionato. Mangio spesso in questa zona e mi sono ritrovato spesso con sughi acidi e carni dure. Qui mi ritrovo a tagliare le fette con il cucchiaio, in una puccia gustosa ed equilibrata. La polenta è quella di prima: una consistenza ottima, macinata grossa, profuma di legna (quindi paiolo e brace). Tira su il sugo come una vera polenta deve fare. Stiamo esplodendo ma arrivano quattro costate. Una bestia non giovane, ma frollata bene regala gusto, consistenza e una discreta morbidezza. Vorrei mettermi a rosicchiare le ossa ma non so dove piazzare il cibo. Il sole si è portato dietro la montagna e la temperatura cala di 5 gradi in un paio di minuti. Ci fanno sedere all 'interno, ormai il locale si è liberato, e ci portano dolci, caffè e grappa. Il mio tiramisù ha una consistenza che vira verso il mascarpone, come piace a me, in realtà dovrebbe essere più morbido. Un buon caffè e un 'ottima grappa. Con quella porzione al bar sotto casa servono 3 clienti. Il problema è stata la lentezza nel servizio all 'inizio ma la situazione era veramente molto critica e ci hanno servito senza che avessimo prenotato. Ed essendo fuori, paesaggio innevato, sole sulla faccia, cielo blu.... mentre gli altri ristoranti ci offrivano al massimo panini imbottiti.... direi che ci può stare. 25 euro è un prezzo 'classico ' per un menu degustazione, ma la qualità media è stata veramente alta. Certo, tovaglie bianche, piatti delicati, composizioni elaborate e ricerca nell 'accostamento dei sapori non appartengono a questo agriturismo. Se cercate questo e andate al Barbabianca rimarrete delusi. Se invece volete mangiare bene con personale attento, generoso, con una vista meravigliosa beh... è il posto giusto. Ovvio, poi dovete camminare tre ore e saltare la cena, ma ogni tanto ci sta. BURP!"
