"A disappointment on many levels. The food was hit or miss. The French onion soup was very good. The beet salad was a bit soggy but average. The lamb ragu gnocchi was a interesting dish. The gnocchi were very delicate and had good flavor, maybe a bit too much butter would be the complaint. The ragu had some good flavors but the texture (shredded lamb with peas) was not great. The big disappointment was the steak frites. The steak was tough with too much butter and no salt. The fries were good but too salty. But the big issue are the ridiculous prices for the food which is not great. The wine list is extensive but has maybe seven or eight bottles for less than a Benji. The sommelier did recommend a bottle for about 100 that was very good, but obviously way overpriced. The atmosphere was dark and noisy, but that might vary depending on the evening. There were many open tables so maybe that should have a been a clue. The service is very good.Would not recommend for dinner."

Loved this restaurant. The French toast is the best you will ever taste.

Way over priced for the quality. Dishes are unimaginative and lack flavor

The atmosphere is pleasant and the food was enjoyable, but the service could use some improvement.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant while celebrating a birthday. They provided us with a lovely table, excellent service, and even surprised us with a delightful Happy Birthday Crème Brule.

I originally wanted the croque madame made with a croissant, but when I arrived, the menu had changed. Instead, I ordered the crepe madame along with some hashbrowns. It was quite tasty. The bartenders were very friendly, which made my dining experience enjoyable since I was eating alone.

Very uneven. All plates had one or two things off. Seasoning seemed off on everything. Escargot were overly salted/seasoned. French onion soup was lukewarm. Steak frites at $88 steak was dry and overseasoned. Short rib was also dry, shouldn’t happen. Moules were good, but broth lacked seasoning. Very disappointing. View menu

We enjoyed a delightful dinner at this restaurant. The food and service were outstanding, and despite indulging in a few too many snacks beforehand, every dish was delicious. We tried the Salad Verte, three cheeses from the cheese plate, the absolutely divine mac and cheese, onion soup, and shrimp cocktail. The cocktails were also fantastic, particularly one called Bar Americain, which I highly recommend. Our server was a true professional—friendly, attentive, and well-versed in the menu. I wholeheartedly recommend trying this place when you're in Vegas!

"Entry: We entered Oscar's via the front entrance of The Plaza at the West end of Fremont Street. Off to the left near the entrance is the escalator that leads you to their second floor. When we entered we were immediately greeted and seated by a friendly hostess. We requested a table with a view and she definitely obliged. Atmosphere:The ambience at Oscar's is about as good as you can get in downtown Las Vegas. Centered in a large and beautifully tinted glass dome you get panoramic views of downtown LV and even the sky. Service:The service was a spectacular star experience with our waiter. Our water and drinks were never empty. He was attentive, professional and friendly. Food Drink:The food was very good but not quite up to star. The Chilean Sea Bass was the full fish with skin which is quite different than how most steakhouses prepare just a single filet. It was supposed to be deboned however we found bones while eating. The skin on the filet should be crispy throughout but was only so around the edges. Definitely overpriced for the quality of this meal. The salmon was decent but not amazing. Overcooked just a smidge and not seasoned very well. So pretty much tasted like any other salmon you might expect from a or star restaurant. The filet mignon was decent but probably not even in my top The cut was more fatty than what you would expect from a high end steakhouse and not marbleized. I ordered it medium, and as many steakhouse chefs struggle with cooking a filet properly it was cooked to order on the edges and pretty much completely rare on the inside. The grilled asparagus was likely the high point of the dinner. Was cooked to perfection and tender in the middle, crispy on the edges. The creamed spinach wasn't great. The spinach was undercooked and affected the smooth consistency that you should expect from a good cream spinach.Overall:Definitely worth trying for the experience but don't set your bar too high"
