Food was fine. Waited 40 minutes for the check after I asked for it repeatedly.

The Bronzino was AMAZING. It was soft and melted In my mouth! Definitely will be back for the fish!

Delicious Italian fare on the upper east side. Pasta and ravioli was fresh and very well prepared. We have the veal ravioli and the ricotta as well as the gnocchi. Very satisfying. Pizza is made fresh in the oven right next to you. Very good too.

Great drinks, service and brick oven pizza here! Dino the bartender was superb! He makes excellent drinks and he is one of the sweetest! The restaurant is very lucky to have him. We tried the robiola pizza it was so delicious and unique! I have never had a pizza like this and the cheese truffle oil with the arugula was heavenly!

Stumbled across this restaurant on one of the steamiest Saturdays in the city. Loved the anchovie pie! The 4 stars is due to not being seated even though they only had 5 minutes to open. We felt that we could have been seated instead of standing in the doorway looking at empty, set tables and standing in the way of servers going back and forth from the indoor seating to the outdoor seating. Short version: absolutely amazing food, and the service (from the server, not the support staff) was very bad. I was hesitating to write a bad review, but the service we had at the restaurant was so abysmal last night, when it wasn't for others with the same waiter. We ordered our salads and wine, and then had to ask the waiter to order our mains, desserts, for bread, and he never came to check on us. I truly was astounded. When we ordered our champagne (and had to ask for a wine list and a new menu after the host dropped multiple papers out of it) we didn't get something to put our champagne in? Yesterday, I called Bella Blu and ordered food over the phone. What can I say, I’m old school! Bella Blu is my favorite restaurant in the NYC because they have consistently amazing food, a great atmosphere, and the staff is wonderful! I walked in, chatted with a waiter who I knew had been working there for a long time (20 years). As I’m looking around, it feels as though I’ve been transported back to Italy. A few short minutes later, I pick up my food and head towards the 6 train. Don't pay attention to any of the mediocre reviews you may encounter on Yelp! On a hot summer night, my girlfriends/I decided to go out for a pizza beer to cool off the Pizza beer sounded perfect for an impromptu gathering. Around 8:30 PM on the weeknight, the restaurant was busy with diners we were seated promptly. We ordered a typical Margarita pizza Caesar salad , beers to start quickly finished up all but still were hungry.
