I have ordered from here and elsewhere but I have to give the edge to Bendsten's bakery, I believe this is family owned and they take pride in there product

Taller grey haired lady was very rude. Asked the business if they'd like to donate to an event that helps local kids succeed in life. (Not the owner) basically told us to leave! I put all of our items down we were going to purchase and will never be back. Now this story comes up every time someone mentions bakeries to me.

Best Kringle in Wisconsin, hands down. Better than O&H, and better than Uncle Mike's. I used to purchase O&H all the time before O&H built the big bakery and started mass producing their kringles out on Washington Ave. I've also had kringles from many different Racine bakeries including Larsen's and Lehman's and Racine Bakery, but Bendtsens is by far the best. Please give them the recognition they deserve, and buy lots of Kringle from them!!! : Get the almond Macaroon flavor by the way.

I left Racine a long time ago but I grew up here and everyone from here knows that Bendstens is the last remaining bakery that bakes the way their grandparents did. This generational business still bakes on the same oven they baked on a generation ago. Their delectable desserts aren’t made in a factory like their competitors. While all the Other bakeries in town have succumbed to become production facilities pumping out As many kringles as they can; Bendstens is still practicing time honored procedures That produce incomparable results.
