"Looking back on our visit to Bigsby's, I cannot help but be disappointed. We planned to stop in when we visited Denver in 2022, so when we returned in 2023, we knew we had to try harder to make the trip.Overall, the space itself is nice. Very nice aesthetics inside, with a nice patio outside for when the weather decides to cooperate. There are plenty of windows all around to let in natural light. When we arrived in the middle of the afternoon on a Saturday, the winery wasn't very busy. There were a couple of tables here and there, and a larger group that was wrapping up their visit. The staff were also helping prepare for an on-site wedding later that day. Despite what seemed like a manageable number of guests, we waited extended periods of time to be served throughout the time we were there. At one point, our server even admitted that she forgot about us.We decided to start with the Folly 5 Wine Tasting, assuming they would pick five wines that highlight their wines the best. Being the middle of summer, we were rather surprised that 4/5 of the wines on the tasting were reds. We hoped that maybe they were lighter reds given the season but after trying everything, we think that they just stick with the same 5 wines throughout the year. The Brut Cuvee was our favorite of the bunch. The reds were generally disappointing. We decided to order some food while we were there and settled on a meat and cheese board. At first glance, the presentation of everything looked pretty good, and we were kind of impressed coming off of the wines. But then we started actually eating what was on the board, and we realized that the flavors were not very cohesive. The pile of mustard did not go well with any cheeses, nor did the pickled vegetables. It was a strange combination of items that seemed more like they were there to look nice than actually be a well thought out food board."

One of our favorites. The wine is always excellent and the new entrees are fantastic.

I visit Denver every Labor Day and have been wanting to visit here for a couple years now. We enjoyed our 10:30 am brunch and mimosas visit very much.

The space is huge and allows for plenty of room for large parties. Overall, a very inviting space with some great wines. I loved it and will be back next time I'm in the area View menu

The staff at this restaurant was amazing. We had a reservation for 14 and were hoping to sit on the patio. When the weather changed, they ensured we had a spot saved indoors as a backup.

This restaurant is a wonderful spot, though it seems to be slightly understaffed. Expect some waits for service, even when just waiting at the host stand. The food and wine are exceptional. It is a bit pricey, but still reasonable for the RiNo area.

The service was outstanding! Meredith was incredibly attentive, always quick with a smile and great suggestions. The energy and atmosphere were vibrant and lively. While the food was tasty, the drinks truly stole the show. It’s an excellent venue for a group gathering! View menu

We had a large event of approximately 200 attendees. Bigsby’s Folly was a wonderful venue. The atmosphere was great with a variety of seating spaces both indoors and out. Planning the event with Cassie Sullivan was smooth and she accommodated our every need. The food was outstandingly delicious and everyone on staff was friendly and expedient in their service. I highly recommend Bigsby’s Folly with five stars and two thumbs up! ??

We are so happy we decided to have our wedding reception at Bigsby's Folly. From the very start, the event coordinator was responsive, helpful, easy to work with, and made the planning process fun. She even let us drop off our flowers the night before to keep them cool. When we showed up the day of the party, the space was set up beautifully inside and out, it was absolutely perfect for our 80+ guests to mingle, dine and dance. The space felt festive and open, there was never a line at the bar. The appetizers were great, and the dinner was even better. Many of our guests continued to tell me for days how good the food was no small feat to serve a buffet that is both fresh and delicious to th...

"Love this place! Absolutely zero complaints. Wife surprised me with a stay in Rino for Father’s Day with Colorado Sake being the main reason for the stay. I’m a sake enthusiast at home. Everything we tried was amazing. We spent a couple of hours and did a couple of flights along with some Kanzake(warm sake) and tried 5-6 different izikaya dishes and they were all amazing. We stumbled upon a comedy show that we didn’t even know was happening which was absolutely hilarious. I loved the place so much, I ended up going back in the morning for round 2 and tried the remaining flavors I missed the night before.Met Taylor and she was incredibly attentive and helped us get through the rest of the flavors so we could pick the 6 bottles I wanted to take home as well as recommending some amazing food options. They had ran out of take home bottles and she did everything in her power to figure out a way for me to be able to bring home the bottles we wanted. Thankfully the owner came in with more bottles right before we left. All in all, one of the best Father’s Day trips I’ve had, such good food and the best drinks.I can’t wait to go down there again. Unfortunately I have a feeling I am going to have a hard time drinking the traditional sake I’m used to because this slightly different version is so damn good!Again shoutout to Taylor and the crew for taking the greatest care of us.This place rocks!!!"

"In a relatively unassuming location north of City Park lies a cute conglomerate of businesses, one of which being Rivers Roads. On nice days, it 's exceptionally setup for indoor/outdoor space. But even on cold days, it 's nice to cozy up with a cup of coffee and soak in the sun flooding the space through the south-facing glass garage doors. The coffee is great! I got my usual cortado, which was served in a small paper cup and featured no latte art , which was unfortunate. But that 's where the disappointment ended, as the flavors were excellent and it was well-balanced between milk and espresso. The space itself is quite spacious even inside, with plenty of plants and unique lighting fixtures. There 's ample cafe-style seating. It 's a great place to stay and work awhile or meet friends for conversations. Music isn 't overpowering, and WiFi is half decent. Not exceptional speeds but 25 up/down is adequate for many basic things. Plenty for me to finish the series finale of See in 4K while sipping my cortado! The staff are always pleasant and I would say more attentive than average, making you feel welcomed immediately. It 's not exactly in my neighborhood, but it 's still a regular spot for me. Seasonal drinks are good and most syrups are made in-house. Food is great. Outdoor patio is spacious and dog-friendly. There 's simply not many downsides, if any. Aside from there not being an actual river."
