"Authentic French experience. Beautiful and cozy atmosphere, as the restaurant lives in an old home. Once you go into the door and from, in this case our server George, you can feel the mood. Bright enough to see everything, but not much artificial light, at least the day. George was particularly friendly and pleased to make recommendations or explain any court. The menu is large but not overwhelming, with options for seafood, red meat, vegetarian, and of course charcuterie. We ordered the paste and sausage plate. It was smaller than expected, but still very good. We also shared the braided rabbit and skate wings. Both were particularly delicate and tasty, but the ice skate was quite soft and melted in the mouth. The rabbit was accompanied by a wonderful tomato sauce. We were slightly surprised how many dishes with rice on the side, but nevertheless very good. The parking lot is small so you probably have to park on the street."

George, the owner, offers fantastic recommendations for food and wine pairings. The appetizers, entrees, and desserts are all delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed everything, from the escargot to the homemade caramel.

Very fresh ingredients, beautiful setting, perfectly prepared lunch. Nice wine selection and the house red is an excellent choice. I'm looking forward to going back for dinner. Our server was excellent, and the owner was very friendly. They seem to have a regular clientele there, which says a lot.

Makes me feel like I 'm in France. People may call their restaurant French , but Georges and Claudie are actually French. Their food is as authentic and delicious. The atmosphere is laid back. Their love of music and art lead to some great events throughout the year. If you 're longing for France, but don 't want to deal with jet lag, or If you 've never been to France, but would like to have a taste of it, this is where you go.

This restraunt is terrific! The waiters or just absolutely amazing! They serve you like your royal! And the food was cooked perfectly and I never saw any error or anything bad about it! I definitely recommend the roasted duck!! And when I came home it wasn't like one of those restaurants that you would leave feeling sick or super full or just uncomfortable, I felt perfect! And I also definitely recommend the chocolate mousse on the dessert menu! View menu

I had an excellent experience at this restaurant! The kitchen was outstanding. It's a charming, rustic spot that pays great attention to detail. From the moment I walked in, the owner personally welcomed and greeted me. Each appetizer I tried was delicious, and I was truly impressed by the variety. The lunch prices are quite reasonable too. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to visit, and the food is incredibly fresh. Thank you, Le Bistro Du Beaujolais!

We had a wonderful anniversary celebration, despite a bit of a disagreement beforehand! Sitting on the outdoor terrace was a perfect choice since it was quite hectic inside after the waitress arrived. Our service was excellent, and the food was outstanding. I highly recommend trying their set menu options, which allow you to choose an appetizer, an entrée, and a dessert. It made the decision-making process much easier for us since we were unfamiliar with the menu. I had escargot as an appetizer and then chose the scallop and shrimp for my main course – both were absolutely delicious. We can't wait to come back!

"Skip Panera, go here instead! I was in Berea for a few days and needed a place to do remote work on my laptop for several hours. This place came up with my search for coffee shops and I'm so glad it did. Right from the start I knew I'd found myself a local gem! The staff here are clearly well-trained, very friendly, and enjoy what they do. Lots of young people who know what they are doing and know a lot of the regulars who come in daily or weekly. The man who I assume is the owner/manager is also behind the counter in the morning, serving customers and chatting up everyone. The coffee here reminded me of the coffee from my favorite place back home, so naturally I approve of that! While here I had a breakfast sandwich on a tomato-basil bagel, as well as a turkey wrap with fire feta, a ham and cheese on brioche, and a chicken salad wrap (which is a specialty recommended to me by the owner/manager). All of it was delicious! Everything was light and fresh and ready in 5 minutes. For three days in a row I took up a window seat with an outlet, working on my laptop for about 6 hours. Lots of people came and went, lots of locals, lots of students and professors (who the staff knew from the college). Some people worked, did homework, others just chatted or grabbed their stuff to go. At peak business around 11-12, they had two people taking orders and were still churning them out in 5-10 minutes. I'm not sure when I'll be in Berea next, but I'm coming here when I am. I love this place and I wish there was a place like it in my hometown!"
