"I order the same $13 avocado toast almost every day. App says pickup time 10 minutes but it actually take 30 minutes. But the most shocking thing about this place is customer service. Not a single hello ever (been coming here 4-5 times a week for a while), staff won’t even look your way. And if you happen to complain about waiting an extra 20-25 minutes the 18-20 years old young ladies who work there won’t even apologise but give you the most arrogant “there is nothing we can do about it. Here’s your food you’re good to go” ? ? . Staff is not compatible with this friendly neighbourhood of Studio City. The Store Manager’s (Chelsea) lack of social skills is reflected on the entire team. This place needs a complete makeover."

The coffee here is fantastic, and the Avocado Toast is outstanding. It’s a cozy little spot!

we order by postmate and it came on time, but unfortunately the avocado toast was all black and tasty!

My avocado toast arrived in the most beautiful blue box! You'd think I had ordered something gold—it was absolutely delicious.

My Iced matcha latte came with a reddish hair this morning Salmon toast was delicious. Too bad I had nothing to wash it down with. View menu

Ordered the large mocha. Incredibly underwhelming. It was ashy and astringent, left a sharp mouthfeel in my mouth. A mocha is supposed to be creamy, round, smooth, rich. That was not it.

Ordered Croque Madame, Avocado Toast, Cappuccino and iced Dragon Pearl Jasmine White Tea. Food and drinks were great. The Croque Madame including the salad was my favorite. No wonder it's the signature of this cafe.

The staff was unremarkable and seemed disinterested. However, the coffee was excellent. I'm not a fan of the computer ordering system, as it takes away the desired human interaction that you typically expect in a coffee shop. View menu

this caffe has changed so much. it used to be a cool place, but now it is a mcdonald’s style system of digital order with no human interaction. I really feel for the personal, as they seem overwhelmed with all online orders and are jam full of constant orders.

I choose independent coffee shops over chains like Starbucks or Dunkin' Donuts to support local businesses. Yet, instead of embracing the personal touch that characterizes a coffee shop—like acknowledging regulars or engaging in light conversation—you’ve opted for a soulless, corporate approach. To top it off, you charge higher prices and expect tips. I definitely won’t be returning.

"Easily my favorite bakery in LA!!! Being French, I feel like it's so hard to find good authentic French bakeries but Lou sets the bar soooooo high! No other bakeries have topped Lou's. The croissants are *chef's kiss*, they're flaky, buttery and taste delicious EVERY TIME! I also like their chocolate bread (pain au chocolat) and eclairs, though the eclairs are much sweeter so if you're into that, definitely give them a try! I really love how they are consistent with their pastries. There was never a time when I was disappointed. Now keep in mind they get very busy on the weekend, the wait can be long like 20 mins, especially if you order sandwiches (which by the way, are delicious too and worth it!!! I tried the chicken and turkey sandwiches and would highly recommend them). I think they run out of baguettes after 1pm or even sooner sometimes so if you want baguettes or sandwiches, definitely show up earlier. Even their drinks are so good, I always get their vanilla latte and once again, it tastes delicious e-ve-ry single time! Wanna know another thing I love about this place? The service! Every time we ordered sandwiches and the wait was long, they'd give us a heads up before finalizing our order in case we wanted to skip the sandwiches. One time, there was a mixup which resulted in us getting our sandwiches later than expected so to apologize for the wait, they offered us a croissant * * You will also often see Lou, the chef and owner, walk around and say hi to his customers. He may even sit with them and chat for a few minutes. He seems to know a lot of people in the neighborhood and that's actually how it is in France. Bakeries are in every corner and we love our bakers! Anyway I know this is now a super long review but I only have amazing things to say about this place, their food, the chef and the staff. I just wish they'd open every day"

"Deja Vu Cakes is a fantastic bakery that I highly recommend to anyone looking for a delicious treat. This family-owned bakery is run by a husband and wife who bake everything on-site, and their commitment to using only all-natural ingredients with no artificial additives is admirable.I visited this bakery on St. Patrick's Day, my experience was nothing short of wonderful. The staff was very friendly and hospitable, making me feel welcome and appreciated from the moment I walked in. They had a fantastic selection of seasonal cupcakes displayed top-level of the display case that are beautifully decorated and a sight to behold which included the St. Patrick's Day cupcake with a gold coin on top. The St. Patrick's Day cupcake was a red velvet cake, colored green, and topped with a gold chocolate coin. The frosting was creamy and rich, and our daughter loved it.The Bailey's cupcakes had some alcohol in them, and they were a real treat. The frosting was creamy and rich, and the cupcakes were moist and flavorful. We enjoyed every bite. The bakery's prices are also reasonable, ranging from 4-5 dollars per item. The shop itself is cute and has a welcoming atmosphere, with a friendly and hospitable staff that makes the entire experience even more enjoyable.Overall, we had a fantastic experience at Deja Vu Cakes and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and friendly bakery.I highly recommend Deja Vu Cakes for their excellent customer service, quality cupcakes, and commitment to using all-natural ingredients. If you're looking for a delicious and welcoming bakery, this is the place to go."
