"The chips were very good (thicker than you would expect and the margaritas were strong. The ceviche and guac was pretty good. Maybe it's just the resort location, but I felt the food wasn't worth the price. The service was good although our table was very dark. (I think the bartender ended up taking care of us. He said our server was in the restroom then we never saw her. He did great though. Even a fake candle on the table would have helped. This was a special meeting with colleagues that were staying there, so it was convenient, but I wouldn't go out of my way as a local to come back just for this. I would recommend it if someone were staying on site and didn't want to splurge for the fancier restaurants. It's right next to the pool so that could be fun in the summer."

I would say this restaurant was solid, but not spectacular. Food and drink were good, but nothing to write home about. Staying at the resort it's worth a visit, but I wouldn't go out of my way. View menu

Food was mediocre. Margaritas were interesting. You could either get a frozen one, not our favorite or opt for their tequila cocktail which was margarita-ish. It was carbonated. Never had a margarita that was carbonated. Service was good. Overall not my favorite Mexican food place

This is a restaurant within a resort, so I expected higher prices.  I chose it for Mother’s Day, because of the potential for a beautiful view.  We started with the queso, which tasted like it was a chunk of Velveeta melted in a bowl. I had the Asada tacos that were served with beans and rice.  It was all very bland.  The saving grace for this dining experience was the delicious skinny margarita. It tasted fresh and delicious. The server was nice enough, but he was hard to be found. He was also taking care of the outside patio pool guests so perhaps they were understaffed. We had to sit and wait 7 minutes before we even received menus.
