"Unfortunately, the oxtail dumplings were sour and fell apart as we tried to pick them up. We couldn't even finish one bite and had to send them back to the kitchen. Additionally, the restaurant automatically adds a 20% tip to every table, regardless of the party size. While this is nice, don’t expect them to deduct anything from your bill if you dislike the food—our experience was quite disappointing. The gnocchi had a similarly sour taste and an off-putting texture. As for the bone marrow, it did not live up to the hype. The entire dish was bland, and while we might have just gotten a bad batch, I expected at least some flavor. Instead, it tasted like eating flavorless fat. And then there was the ramen. To put it bluntly, it resembled a watered-down chicken noodle soup. The broth was lackluster, and the noodles seemed like they came straight from a packet—nothing special at all. To top it off, the ramen was served with plastic chopsticks that weren't very easy to use. Overall, I would give this place a 0/10 and definitely do not recommend it. The cuisine seemed more Asian than Asian Fusion, and it's certainly a taste that not everyone will appreciate. We won't be returning."

I had a fantastic first experience at Bone Kettle. From the warm greeting by the hostess to the end of our meal, their customer service was outstanding. Our orders were perfectly timed, which is something not many restaurants manage to do, especially on a busy Friday night. I highly recommend Bone Kettle if you're a fan of Asian fusion cuisine.

Service and atmosphere is average and the flavors don’t quite hit the marks. The Clams and Donuts were at least unique and were a favorite of the night. The signature bone broth and noodles were fine, but not flavorful enough to be called a signature. The outdoor seating isn’t quite up to par. Overall a fine meal, just lacking in a few departments. I’ve been traveling the world for work over the last 8years.This was the best service I think I’ve received as this level of restaurant in that time. From the moment I walked in the staff was very attentive and helpful and friendlyThe food was a good quality. The cocktails were good quality, but all of that aside that service out and the price was a fantastic value.

I ordered the crispy tempeh bone broth, and it was absolutely delicious! The vegetables were nice and crunchy, and the vegan broth was outstanding. I particularly enjoyed the baby corn and carrots. Interestingly, when I tasted a family member's beef broth, I couldn't really tell the difference. The broth was served at the perfect temperature, making me slightly sweaty while I enjoyed it!

OBSESSED. I have an Indonesian friend who recommended that I visit here in the Pasadena area…and it was one of the biggest food highlights. Perfect ambiance, classy but calming and welcoming and the 36 hour bone broth is no joke. I was thinking about the bone marrow dish for the next week. Pretty perfect modern take on Southeast Asian cuisine. Drinks are okay, nothing outstanding but run don’t walk for the food here! View menu

Of course they're known for their noodle soup, which is beyond divine! You can tell they care about their food. Their brisket isn't super fatty and super tender, the broth rejuvenates your body with collagen and hits the spot. I absolutely love their happy hour which is mon-thurs 430pm-6pm. Highlights are oysters, wings, and fries! Also, took a group of 15 here for brunch (I got the loco moco) and everyone loved it, was a perfect fusion of Asian meets western brunch!

Went this weekend for brunch and it exceeded expectations! First of all, the restaurant is beautifully appointed and has a very modern and semi-minimalist feel. My friend had the mocktail (delicious) and I had a really refreshing iced coffee. We ordered lumpia and bone marrow for the table; both soooo delicious. I ordered the oxtail hash which was really good and my friend ordered the omelet, which she said she really enjoyed. The only minor issue is that my entree arrived about 5 minutes before my friend's meal, but everything else was otherwise wonderful. Very attentive, yet-non-obtrusive service. I will definitely be going back to try the ube waffles.
