"I loved this coffee shop. I brought all my friends and family here because i loved their coffees and acai bowls, not only that supporting a local business means a lot to me as well. As someone who has not only worked customer service for 10+ years i’ve worked at multiple coffee shops and currently manage a grocery store…the customer service I received today was appalling. I have supported this business since it first opened and order from them very frequently. Like most consumers, I work…I don't always have the luxury of going 30 mins out of the way to get a coffee. I pay a premium for postmates, not only that when I order from them off of postmates one item is typically $15.00 which I have happily paid multiple times. Adding another item typically makes my order 30+ dollars and on top of that being at work doesn't allow me time to enjoy a second item from them. Regardless, I don’t think this shop cares about you as a consumer unless you are spending a chunk money at their shop and with the current climate of the economy I have reason to believe i’m not the only one ordering a single item when their coffee is already $9.00. This note is extremely out of touch and suggests that I should spend my money else where and that I don't matter to this shop unless i’m paying 30+ dollars in a transaction. Thanks SO MUCH!"

Acai bowls were ok, but the service was terrible. Owner was rude and would not recommend this place. I have done 100's of reviews around the world and have NEVER had to give such a poor review.

They always close before their listed business hours.I even called around 235pm once to place an order, and was told they would make an exception for me .If you close at 3p, maybe take orders until at least 3p? Or at least 245p.Bowls are tasty, just a little overpriced.

So delicious and a good variety of early morning eats! I prefer the go buff monkey smoothie. It's a wonderful coffee/nut/banana mix. This morning I had the Waffle Toast, such a treat! The topping is sweet but not overly so and the Waffle is a perfect blend of crisp and soft on the inside.

This is my favorite place to eat! They always give generous portions. You will not find another place that gives so much food for the price you pay. And it is all healthy! I highly recommend this place!Vegetarian options: Super healthy foodsKid-friendliness: Great staffParking: in a parking lot area View menu

Açaí bowls were not the best ones I have had but not terrible either. The fruit toppings were fresh, a little too much banana vs. other fruits. The price was expensive though, $26 for 2 bowls plus tips so $30+ for two açaí bowls. Won’t return because I can get two bowls elsewhere with better quality and for a more reasonable price.

I used to visit this restaurant frequently, but over time, the service has deteriorated. The owner tends to shout at customers who ask questions, even something as simple as requesting extra salt and pepper. A basic order of toast and coffee costs $20. You would think the high prices would be offset by good customer service, but it seems he is determined to drive the business into the ground. If you value good service, I recommend dining elsewhere.

The guy that was working here 10:45 AM on Sunday morning June 3 is very rude and disrespectful. You can tell he creates a hostile environment for his other coworkers, because of the way their morale is down. He was really rude and disrespectful to me, telling me to go to the window go to the window when I didn’t realize there was a window instead of guiding me through it. It was just being rude and disrespectful and yelling at me. .I will never come here again. View menu

First of all, the portions are huge! Second, the flavors are intense—not just in the bowls! Want an extra morning boost? Grab a frappe! Your taste buds will be amazed, and your spirit lifted! Forget the long lines at that chain coffee shop with its overcooked flavors; instead, enjoy the fresh air of Santee as you order your drink at the window and learn about their coffee selection. While there have been some staff changes, the team remains consistently fantastic! You really should experience this for yourself. I love supporting small businesses, and it's easy to do so here with their delicious and customizable offerings! The only way this place could improve is with a larger venue provi...

During my last two visits, the owner's behavior was off-putting. Two visits ago, my order was delivered to me in a somewhat passive-aggressive manner, but today it escalated. The owner yelled at me about tipping, insisting that regular customers should give him a tip. He said, "Help me pay my people," even though he also mentioned he doesn't need the money. He demanded that I tip at least a dollar to help his staff. I pointed out that if I tipped a dollar for every visit, I'd only be contributing $32 over five months. The prices for the food are already on the higher side, so it seems clear that someone does need additional funds, as other negative reviews mention similar complaints about h...

"Our father's day celebration on June 19, 2022, was filled with loving thoughts, joyful hours, and memorable moments. Raven served our delicious, nutritious lunch. She was friendly, professional, and sincere as she was attentive to our needs, cheerfulas she helped us, and knowledgeable regarding our orders. Garret, on the other hand, served our appetizers. His humorous stylemade us laugh with his jokes, resulting in a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience. Black Angus in El Cajon is a fine diningplace because, in addition to its adequate parking spaces, the workers observed punctuality, as manifested by the timely arrivalof our appetizers, main courses, salads, and beverages. The prime rib and lobsters were cooked to perfection as we felt thetenderness and succulence of the meat while we were biting on them. The salads were fresh, prepared with the right amount ofvegetables, and sprinkled with parmesan cheese. The server mixed the beverages with the right amount of sweetness andacidity. The table was clear of unnecessary plates, cups, silverware, and other dining necessities. Undisturbed by noisy peopledining nearby and partly surrounded by high-upholstered benches, the place was quiet and provided an unexpected but neededprivacy. Raven and Garret performed their duties not obsequiously but accommodatingly, as indicated by their warm smile andcheerful demeanor. The confluence of a warm and cozy room, delicious food, refreshing beverages, needed privacy, and reasonableand outstanding service made our father's day celebration satisfying and worth repeating."
