"The food at this restaurant is excellent. The service is extremely poor. We had a sweet, friendly server, but she was terribly incompetent. When we first sat down we ordered our drinks, a cocktail and a glass of wine. Later we ordered an appetizer and entrées. The appetizer was a bit slow to the table, but satisfactory. After finishing our appetizer, we still didn't have drinks. The server said our entrées would be out soon and I had to insist that our drinks would be on the table before we accepted any entrée. I had already reminded her that we were still waiting on drinks twice before as she was passing by. It took 45 minutes and 4 reminders before we received bread we had requested. The first bill was incorrect and we asked her to correct it. She brought the second version of the bill and it was also incorrect. She had to get the manager involved to prepare a correct bill. The manager never came to the table to apologize for the previous two billing errors. The food was fantastic but anyone going here should be prepared for a lot of frustration in actually getting the food and drink to the table and a manager that isn't interested in customer service."

Went on a date to Brasserie Du Parc, the food and mimosas were amazing. Definitely worth the time, money, and experience.

A few glitches, such as the menu not accurately reflecting some ingredients and not getting our coffee. Overall a good meal though. View menu

Wonderful dinner. We both had the Duck Confit and it was delicious! I don’t usually order dessert but we shared the Crepe Soufflé. Superb!!

Excellent French wine and food. Excellent service with smiling staff. I had a great evening even if I was dinning by myself. I will come back!

Duck confit was delicious. Truffle fries need some work. Caesar salad very good. Beef tartare was good but better at their other establishment Etoile. Shrimp risotto was great. Nice atmosphere, great view. Wonderful service. Enjoyed after dinner drinks at the bar. View menu

We were abandoned ignored by the servers. We were abandoned ignored by the servers. We ordered appetizers and bread, and the bread came when we were almost done eating. Our waters were never refilled. We had to hunt down someone to pay our bill. Paying $60+ to be treated so badly is why I won't return or recommend this place.

We had a wonderful time celebrating our anniversary at Brasserie du Parc. The restaurant is in a great section of downtown and was convenient to our hotel. The ambiance is vey nice and the wait staff superb! The food was excellent and we were treated to a complimentary crème brûlée for two for our special occasion. It really made our stay in Houston memorable!

"Food good. Location good. Service good. BUT, the hidden charges REALLY ruined an otherwise nice experience. Example: HH menu lists Martinis as a $3 upcharge to the $7 base charge. Fair enough. Bombay is a listed alcohol; requested. When the bill was returned I was charged for a Bombay Sapphire which is not on the HH list. Charge? $11 $3. I asked for Bombay, not Bombay Sapphire. Waiter: Oh, let me look into that. AND, by the way Blue Cheese olives? Extra $1. REALLY? I 've NEVER paid extra for BC olives ANYWHERE. AND the confusing menus that a dish as including an extra sauce, [and I don 't recall the exact language but it made it seem that an additional items could be selected as well. Oops, there goes an extra $10.95. AND, the waiter recommending a twice-baked potato. Bah, boom, another $5.95. [which in fairness is disclosed on the menu in a different location, but waiter made it sound as if it was a no-charge option on the surf and turf. AND the split plate charge which I don 't think was disclosed on the menu. Ding, ding, extra $3.00. Was this a waiter, who was overly up-selling or restaurant deception? Don 't know. As I said, the food WAS good. AND, the ambience [at least in the bar area, stay away of the hotel-ballroom-like main dining area was nice. Just beware the nickel and dime charges that the waiter won 't be disclosing to you."
