"We love authentic Japanese cuisine, and regret not coming back to this wonderful restaurant sooner, now that we are out and about. The food is very fresh and delicious, and there are some sushi preparations I just don't see in other Clevelandrestaurants. The Yakitori appetizer was great, but the soft shell crab and soft shell shrimp appetizers were exceptional. Theomakase dinner was masterfully prepared with excellent selections and excellent flavor. My son loved his teriyaki steak. Onetip: they serve no alcohol here, but you can carry in and the Western Reserve Wines keeps a selection of good sake chilled andready to go, right next door."

"For having an “open” kitchen, there is no care taken for wearing gloves or cross contamination. Witnessed one cook not wearing gloves, touching raw bacon and then using his bare fingers to check the temperature of sausages cooking. Gloves need to be worn when touching prepared food that goes to a customer. Gloves need to be changed after touching raw meat. The cook used his bare hands to move cooked sausages from the grill to plates and then served them to customers. The other cook was wearing gloves, but I witnessed him blow/wipe his nose and he did not change his gloves after. He used the same gloves to continue to cook food that went to customers. Neither cook ever washed his hands or changed gloves. It’s a disrespect for the food industry and lack of professionalism. If you do not have respect for the industry or cannot follow food safety protocols, you should not work in the food industry. I would recommend reading their health score from the Cuyahoga Board of Health violations before dining here."

"From the moment we walked in at 7:30 we were getting dirty looks from the staff. When asked how many, (7 and the place was not packed) we were told they close at 8. So they sat us. We quickly stated placing our orders. Server did not write anything down. He was huffing and puffing like we close at 8. We were there to celebrate our nephews birthday. Instead of dealing with the attitudes and hostile environment we left. We told them don’t even bother putting in our order! We try to support local and small business, but the customer service here was horrible. We went up the road and had great service and great food at another establishment. Won’t be going back. And I used to love this place. Not anymore they have since changed their hours but online it stated 10 pm close and the sign outside was not turned to say closing at 8. It was facing the building. So from street, you could not see it. I made sure to look, since they stated it says 8 on the sign!"

"I had a delightful experience at Munch, enjoying a fresh, crisp, and incredibly tasty falafel salad. The tahini dressing was especially delicious. My friend had the falafel pita and absolutely loved it! The menu choices can be a bit overwhelming, but the owners are more than happy to explain everything and answer any questions. Their passion for their food really shines through, and they even offer samples of their soups so you can decide if you’d like to try something new. I highly recommend Munch!"

"If you want fresh, absolutely delicious top notch, Greek food, then you have to stop here and order from Pete. He immediately has stories (and pictures of for you about the dishes, including the Grilled Octopus, which is one of the best seafood dishes Ihave ever eaten. And it is on the appetizer list! Chocked Souvlaki flavorful and tender. The Trojan Fries loaded with theiramazing gyro meat, amazing. And to top it off, the baklava. The best I have ever had. I have not been paid off to say any ofthis. Go there. Eat the food. I will be back there, and hopefully run into you, and be able to suggest more items on theirmenu. (Please note the 5 star rating. I do not leave 5 star ratings. Ever."
