Our meal was delightful! Our waitress offered excellent suggestions and was very attentive and engaged. She certainly led us in the right direction! The atmosphere is family-style and casual. I highly recommend it!

It was a typical experience, but it really fulfilled our cravings. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. I ordered the sausage and eggs with bacon, while my girlfriend had the strawberry pancakes, which were delicious.

This is a well run family diner with a good variety of food and great breakfast choices. The place is clean and has friendly staff. The service has been attentive. Thr pie and ice cream are grand. The restaurant is accross from a bike path. I often bike here. They are lacking a good bike rack to lock up to.

I've consistently enjoyed the food and service here over the years. Although the original owners have retired and it is now run by a brother-in-law, the restaurant has been remodeled and the menu updated. The food is delicious! The avocado toast is fantastic. However, they no longer offer the spinach pie. Keep up the great work!

Our meal was great and all the staff were very pleasant. The treats we bought to bring home are amazing. Sorry, I didn't take pictures this time. Only of the goodies we brought home. I called for a pick up order at 8pm and was told they close at 8pm. I told them they have a sign outside saying open until 9pm. I was told they just changed it. I drove by the next day and there were two signs up that said they were open until 9pm. It has been a week now and the signs remain and I see people there after 8pm. For the lack of honesty/ explanation I will no longer be dining here with my family.

My husband was working late nearby, so we decided to give the fried chicken a try. I have to say, it was the best chicken—and possibly the best meal—I’ve had in a long time. Having lived in the Quad Cities area for most of my life, I can confidently say this place is a hidden gem. The chicken was crispy and incredibly juicy. And those mashed potatoes? They brought me right back to my childhood! I can never find white gravy, but this one definitely lived up to my expectations. From now on, we won't be considering chicken anywhere else in our area. This is a great diner type spot, a local favorite, and fairly so. Ownership changed hands a year or more ago, and the original brothers retired. It 's my understanding that family bought it, and they have many of the same employees who have been there for years. Great for breakfast, for sure, don 't sleep on their lunch and dinner menus either. They 've made some nice changes in the past year or so, and the place is comfy and efficient. Good quality food, very reasonable prices. Definitely not fancy, but an easy place to grab a bite and enjoy it.
