"Beautiful restaurant and bar. We started with drinks at the bar. The bartender took the time to talk to us about what we liked and wanted, and shared a lot of details about the liquor we were drinking. The upstairs dining room was cozy and intimate. The menu is small but varied with lots to try if you are a foodie. I had the whole fish and it was perfectly seasoned and cooked, served with a couple of well thought-out sides. They were very accommodating of our large party (with a reservation) and willingly offered separate checks."

Food and cocktails were very good. They would have gotten 5 stars from me, except for the problem with our reservation. They comped us champagne and a cheese tray, which was nice.

Nice menu, limited choices but the mussels were outstanding. Say at the bar after dinner, fun watching John, the owner, show off his talents behind the bar. Very clean and great presentation. Would go back!

The food and drinks at Buffalo Proper are fantastic! I would highly recommend the roast chicken. The staff is super knowledgeable and helped us order drinks based on our preferences. I can’t wait to go back again.

right. neat drinks, proper service, proper atmosphere - a must visit great cocktails. theny is our favorite to see, really everyone is great, but we enjoy especially seeing and absolutely love the cocktails. hair of the dog was earlier on the menu, but until today I still order it because it has fantastic and one has to try! If I'm ever back in buffalo, I'll come back for a Kimchi pancake! it came with the bark, and I wish there were more of them. crispy, a tad spicy and full of taste. the mönchsschale was great. this is such a cozy feeling. the service was in order, we sat in the bar area, so little attention, but that was good for us. the cocktails are also worth visiting.

not many places in buffalo with a chef chef, and they can say the difference. amazing eating, great service, interesting ambiente. small portions for the price, but eating is fantastic. I had the bresoala salat $13) and the sunglass suppe wonderful presentation $10.) only on the bottom was the maitre d,' who apparently did not know that half of the square was empty when she had us waiting for a table.
