Stopped by the Swansboro Shak and experienced some of the best fish tacos I have had in years. My compliments to the chef and staff!

Can’t give it 5 stars because out if the 3 times we’ve ordered, the orders have been incorrect every time. Missing black olives. My chosen ingredients on my husband’s bowl, my guacamole on his burrito, etc. Tasty, but he hates olives and guacamole. Looking forward to the first correct order ? View menu

Somewhat disappointed to find that this shack is actually a completely modern building with functional lighting, air conditioning, food safety precautions, and pleasant humans. I was really hoping for an actual rusty shack made of driftwood and old corrugated sheet metal, filled with baboons who serve you food that 's contaminated in thirty-four ways.Anyway 10/10

One thing I appreciated was that they offered complimentary chips with the burrito, along with a variety of salsas, similar to Moe's. However, I have to admit that the salsa didn't quite measure up to Moe's. The service was excellent; the staff taking our orders were friendly and accommodating. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would certainly visit again. If I were to rate Moe's and Chipotle, I would give them four stars, and if I could, I would rate Burrito Shak 3.5 stars.

This restaurant has really declined over the past year. There are a lot of new staff members, and it seems like they can’t retain their employees. Communication among the team is lacking. The dining area was very dirty, and there were no drink lids available except for those that fit the water cups. The salsa bar was unappealing, and both the tables and floor were in need of cleaning. It was also uncomfortably hot inside, almost as if the air conditioning was broken, and the staff was visibly sweating, which was off-putting. Additionally, they are overly generous with the sauce on the food, which completely overwhelms the dish. Overall, I’m not interested in returning. View menu
