"With no reservation, we had a short 20-minute wait on a Friday night in early August 2024. We were asked if we'd like to sit at a high table on the more boisterous bar side (as opposed to the more reserved side with the live piano music), and we agreed. We were eventually given water by a different server because when we put in our appetizer order upon being greeted, our actual server never took our drink order and didn't return until bringing out the tequila lime shrimp. We sat for many minutes with just water and our own good company. There were six shrimp in the order, and it was ok, just bland. It was a simple butter and tequila sauce with pre-squeezed half lime in the center of the dish. It isn't worth talking up the appetizer for the price charged for the amount of shrimp. The featured beer was delicious and paired well with the prime rib. We ordered the 8 oz. prime rib with salad bar and the ahi tuna tacos with spicy mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was not spicy in any way and was incredibly dry with no gooey cheese goodness to be found. The ahi tuna was cooked medium rare, but when taking the complete bite of the taco, it was lacking bold or developed flavors. It was mostly the tuna flavor with a slight tang of the pickled cabbage slaw. The street sized taco shells were also a little tough. The prime rib was ok. It was ordered medium rare. It wasn't anything special, it wasn't bad, just bland. The au jus was tasty and held all the beefy flavor. Overall, we were unimpressed with our server due to initial neglect and even less so with the food. We would not make a return trip."
