"Carmines pizzeria has been here on Graham Avenue for years in years. He used to just have literally a pizzeria and was now able to expand it into a big restaurant. The owner is a big sports fan so you'll see sports memorabilia and all TVs on sports channels especially when there's a big game or fight. It's settled in the wonderful Italian neighborhood of Williamsburg and everyone goes there the hipsters that have moved in the neighborhood and the Italian people that have been there for 70 years. The last time I was here I gave a surprise birthday party for my husband with 25 good friends and family. We got the private room in the back and had one long table. The food is always good the service is always attentive. A favorite for most people is called Sunday gravy it's a huge meal with meatballs and sausage and pasta with gravy. they keep your bread baskets full and they have a nice wine selection and of course the beer is always cold. The prices are decent it can be a little loud with the TVs and if there's a game going on there's lots of screaming. But it's a good Italian restaurant and a great place to try."

It seems that Carmine's portions are getting smaller, but the prices remain the same or are even increasing! I was excited to order my favorite Aubergine Tower and... View menu

Excellent food! great service! Felt very much at home. Staff was very attentive and table service was enjoyable. Wood fired oven, need I say any more. Had the homage meat lasagna which I thoroughly enjoyed!

This is definitely the best pizza I have ever tasted. Keep in mind that I am not from New York, so my opinion may be biased. I really enjoyed the savory flavors and the fact that it wasn't too sweet. The pizza was cooked perfectly...

Home made. Old school food. Sunday gravy with meatballs, braciole, sausage and pork chop is delicious. Fried hot peppers are amazing. Eat them on their hot bread with a little butter and salt !!!!!! Pizza is delicious. All kinds and sizes. Brick oven too. TV's and good music. Wine and beer and smiling service. Always people here celebrating something birthdays, anniversaries, etc.

We ordered from here last night for game night wings, New Yorker pizza, and baked ziti. The wings were okay, the best of everything ordered... but they put carrots and celery on top of the wings which left them withered by the time I received the food. As for the pizza and pasta incredibly bland. It's like having food in your mouth but tasting nothing. No garlic, no onion, no herbs or spices, not even salt. Just tomato and cheese. I'm not sure how you run a pizza spot and expect people to pay for this. The good thing I will say is they were quick with getting my order out in time for delivery, which has been rare these days. Overall, save your money for better pizza spots.

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
