Chez Benoit Bistro - Menu

Very good food in a pleasant environment. No acknowledgement we were there for a birthday although it was given to Open Table when reservation was made.

We were there on Valentines Day, so they had a fixed menu. We enjoyed the food and the service immensely. It’s a lovely restaurant for a special night out.

Our first visit was fantastic! The food was delicious, and the service was lovely. The whole experience was wonderful. We will definitely be back many times.

It was Valentines Day and, as always, everything was perfect the food, the service the ambiance. It has become my favorite restaurant. It’s like a trip to Paris.

It's nice to have an authentic French bistro in town. I had the mushroom and leek quiche. It was very light and tasty. My husband's beef Burgundy was better than the one I make, but a bit pricy. The chocolate mousse was divine! The waiter remembered which table we like to sit at and the chef came out to greet us. It was a perfect Valentine's Day lunch! View menu

Our second visit was as enjoyable as our first. My wife had the quenelles again and I had the scallops. Wonderful presentation and exquisite taste. Benoit had prepared a special appetizer that night, a thinly sliced potato in pastry puff, excellent. Our friends thoroughly enjoyed the roast chicken. It is clear that the chef takes great pride in exhibiting his sophisticated talent and skills. Sophisticated cuisine in an unpretentious atmosphere. We will definitely return.

The staff was friendly and informative. The ambience was nice and relaxed. The food was fabulous. The carrot soup (the soup of the day) was the best I’ve ever had. I had a roasted chicken was tender and moist with wonderful seasoning. My wife’s scallops St. Jacques were seared perfectly. The qnocchi were tender and paired the chanterelles. We finished with a rice pudding that I would definitely order again. Best of all, we were able to sit and talk with our dinner companions.

Overall, we had a fantastic experience. The only downsides were that the pomme frites were slightly overcooked and the duck breast could have used a bit more seasoning. Everything else about our meal was excellent. We requested our server to pace the meal more slowly since we were dining with friends and prefer to take our time, and he did a wonderful job accommodating us. The noise level was ideal for conversation, allowing us to enjoy each other's company. We definitely plan to return. View menu
