"I visited on a Saturday night and had a good time. Although I didn't try the food, the drinks and the speakeasy atmosphere were a nice touch. The prices for drinks were somewhat high, but that's to be expected in this area. The bar in the back gets quite crowded at night. There was a live DJ playing, the music was loud, and the bartenders were attentive. The place had a vibrant energy. I would rate it 4 out of 5 because they need to sort out their vibe; they have a bouncer at the speakeasy entrance but no dancing allowed there. Overall, it was a pleasant experience."

Got the Mac n cheese with pulled chicken. Food was overpriced for what you get. The bowl came with one tiny plantain and I was hoping for a little more. The jalapeños could have been roasted or grilled to provide flavor. Probably won?t be back because it cost $15 for a little meal. Food was good though.

As for the sides, I ordered Yuca and received only five pieces (I counted) for $4. On a positive note, the whiskey, beer, and cocktail options are a nice touch. I’m surprised this place has such high ratings. Overall, I give it 2 stars for cleanliness and quick service. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend it.

The food here is absolutely delicious, featuring Venezuelan cuisine with a Peruvian twist. Be sure to try the arepitas and yuca served with guasacaca; the chicken is perfectly juicy, and the mojo is fantastic. Can?t say I?m a fan but the location is prime I don?t really taste any difference between a standard rotisserie chicken at Costco versus this but yet the price is 4 times as much with half the portions. Drinks were quite expensive as well for a place without service. The Mac and cheese was alright but felt like nothing special and the salad was darn boring!

Along with the chicken, we chose two sides: the yuca fries and a vinegar-based salad that reminded me of kimchi. It was a perfect palate cleanser between bites of chicken. The yuca fries were thick and satisfying, and paired with the two salsas provided, they were a great way to enhance the flavors. I was curious about the “whiskey” aspect since there was no alcohol being served, but then I noticed a bar in the back! It was quite lively. Unfortunately, food wasn't allowed in that area, which made it feel more like a chicken spot with a separate whiskey bar.
