"This was my first visit to Chinese Musician, and I've been to several other Chinese restaurants in the city. I have to say, they serve the best dim sum I've ever had. My only complaint is about the Shrimp Sui Mui – it was delicious but way too small in portion. Unfortunately, I also didn't receive the Diet Coke I ordered. However, the BBQ Roasted Duck combo dinner was absolutely incredible! The Sesame Wonton was okay, but I couldn't quite figure out what ingredients were used. Overall, I would give this place 5 stars. That said, if I decide to return, I hope to see more consistency and better portion sizes. Otherwise, great job!"

Our go-to spot for Chinese in the neighborhood. Not too greasy. Friendly staff.

I had my first meal here, and it exceeded my expectations. The sesame chicken was fantastic! I will definitely come back.

The shrimp teriyaki was mostly just a brown sauce, and I couldn't identify the sauce on the sesame chicken. Overall, I was quite disappointed. On a positive note, the service was very fast. View menu

This restaurant is fantastic! I absolutely love the beef and broccoli, General Tso chicken, and the mushroom soup. Honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The service is excellent as well!

Great for NYC-style takeout Chinese. Also nicely decorated interior. General Tso?s was excellent. Definitely recommended. You can also order direct with them to avoid the seamless fees. Reasonable prices, especially the lunch specials.

I've dined here a few times, and the food is consistently very good—always hot and fresh. The house soup is excellent. I wanted to request more soy sauce, but I was basically told no. Perhaps that's for the best, considering I have high blood pressure. View menu

Really good Tasting Chinese food. Lemon Chicken is to die for! String beans with any sauce are so fresh and delicious. Fried rice superb, in fact all dishes will please you. Don't forget my fav, Hot Sour Soup. Prices are decent, staff friendly and very attentive! If you love Chinese food then you must try this great place...!

BEST CHINESE FOOD IN GREENPOINT! All the bad reviews are wrong, this place is a no- fuss delicious Chinese restaurant. We?ve enjoyed take out from here 3 times and each time the dishes are flavoursome, well prepared and not too salty. Sometimes Chinese food upsets my stomach for a couple hours, I?ve never had this with Chinese musician which leads me to believe they use quality ingredients and good meat. Some of our favourites are: sesame dumplings, general Tsos, shrimpand lobster noodles and beef vegetables

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
