"The gentleman who took my order was very pleasant. However, my instinct prompted me to check the health inspection rating, and by the time I noticed a prominent score of 87, I had already placed my order and paid. I chose the shrimp in garlic sauce from the lunch menu. Unfortunately, the vegetables were overcooked except for the mushrooms, but the shrimp was excellent and the garlic sauce was incredibly flavorful. It came with fried rice, which I didn’t realize until later—I usually prefer steamed rice and don’t care for fried rice in general. The sauce was so good that I ended up eating some of the rice just to enjoy it more. The egg roll was mostly made up of wontons that had been rolled and fried. I believe that if they improved their cooking practices, prepared the vegetables fresh upon ordering, and included some cabbage and bits of pork in the egg rolls, they would attract more customers. I understand that the pandemic has affected many businesses, and this restaurant has not quite bounced back."

"I had another delicious meal from Panda last night. Long Beach has plenty of great Chinese restaurants, but Panda is one of my favorites. I decided to order delivery and Jaden took my order. I made several modifications to the menu items due to my children's picky eating habits and my desire to limit sodium. Jaden offered some helpful suggestions and everything turned out well. Some of the dishes had slight modifications, with certain ingredients omitted or replaced. However, all the dishes were tasty. We enjoyed Orange Beef, Gyoza dumplings, Chow Mei fun, and hot and sour soup (which was homemade). The iced tea was also delicious and quite sweet. A tip: try putting some of the Mei fun noodles in the hot and sour soup for an extra tasty treat."

"I called to change my order and instead of trying to accommodate me the lady on the phone just kept dismissing me and shouting at me to call Uber eats. I could not even get a word in without her rushing me off the phone. I tried to talk to her in a civilized manner but instead she just kept cutting me off as if she did not want to deal with my order change. She finally hung up the phone in my face. I was in shock and appalled at the rude service this place has to offer. I never even ordered food from this restaurant and therefore, I could have been a potential customer. So now I’m spreading the word that this restaurant has awful customer service and needs to be more mindful of how to treat customers with respect. Never again!"

"I ordered a late dinner here on Uber eats, I don’t live close to this place so I was happy I was still able to order from here. I lost my appetite while waiting for the food, but so happy I did. Once I received it, my husband and I are the food and we were both happy and impressed. Not sure about the negative reviews I see on here but we had an amazing experience work our dinner. I ordered the sesame tofu, and the rice was the best Chinese rice I had. Moist and not dry My husband had the general tso chicken and he loved it! "We ordered general tsos chicken, black pepper chicken, sesame shrimp, chicken fried rice, and crab Rangoon. None of it tasted very good. The breading on the chickens all seemed stale, like it had been sitting out for a few hours or something. The fillingin the crab Rangoon was not sweet and creamy, but bland and crabby"

"The highlight of my meal was definitely the Crab Rangoon, which I thought was fantastic! They were just the right balance and not overly sweet. The Sweet Donut (rated 6/10) was decent, but I found them to be a lot softer than I anticipated. The Bourbon Chicken (10/10) was absolutely delicious; however, I felt it could use more sauce. It reminded me a bit of barbecue chicken, and I really enjoyed the flavor. On the other hand, the Chicken Lo Mein was underwhelming, and I wouldn't recommend it. I think it's better to stick with the rice!"

"This was my first visit to Chinese Musician, and I've been to several other Chinese restaurants in the city. I have to say, they serve the best dim sum I've ever had. My only complaint is about the Shrimp Sui Mui – it was delicious but way too small in portion. Unfortunately, I also didn't receive the Diet Coke I ordered. However, the BBQ Roasted Duck combo dinner was absolutely incredible! The Sesame Wonton was okay, but I couldn't quite figure out what ingredients were used. Overall, I would give this place 5 stars. That said, if I decide to return, I hope to see more consistency and better portion sizes. Otherwise, great job!"

"Grace Wok is cash only, so you have to carry cash just to order from their menu. Not convenient at all. I ordered takeaway for lunch, but the experience was disappointing. Food quality was poor, service was lacking, and the atmosphere left much to be desired. Would not recommend."

"Last week I ordered Szechuan pork. They must have misunderstood my order because I received a dish of mostly vegetables with only a few pieces of pork. The portion of rice they gave me was enough to feed three people! This is definitely one of the best Chinese restaurants on George Dye Street. However, yesterday I ordered the house lo mein and it was disappointingly bland. I apologize, Great Wall, but I won't be returning here again."
