"This is my favorite place to get super reasonable, super delicious, well portioned seafood boils. Staff is super friendly. The restaurant is clean. TV and music to entertain you. Spacious, lots of seating and bar seating available. Cocktails are always consistently good. Parking isn't great downtown, that's my only con. I have been to every seafood boil spot in St Louis and in my opinion, this is the best one. Great portions for the price."

I purchased the 1/2 shrimp it came with 1 potato and I added 2 eggs. It was about $15 the sauce was delicious

Kee was our server and she was prompt and professional. The space is unassuming and a pleasant surprise. The California Margarita was great.

The food is good..but not enough sauce in the boil bag..basically dry. The most important part in the boil bag is the sauce..Ive told them over and over..last time ordering

Boils/Seafood is amazing. I wasn't so pleased with fried foods. The wings were also good. This was my 1st time dinning in. I often door dash the boils that are to dive for. View menu

The boil was definitely on point. You have to get it juicy with the hot seasoning. The king crab was sweet sausage and potatoes cooked excellent damn and that sauce immaculate.

Unassuming would be the best way to describe the exterior. Once you walk in plan on being pleasently surprised. What use to be a bar in old St. Louis has transformed in to a great seafood restaurant. On par with it's competition the Cajun broil came out perfectly seasoned and well cooked. If your in the area look past the facade and open the door!

"As my last night in St. Louis, I decided to search for the best steak in the city, possibly even at a Top 10 Steakhouse. Hamilton's Urban Steakhouse lived up to its reputation. The service was excellent, the food was very good, and I had a great time with my colleagues. The atmosphere was enjoyable and comfortable. Our waiter was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The fresh bread was light and delicious. We started with a charcuterie board, which was perfect for sharing. The bacon fat candle was a creative touch. The Caesar salad was good, but not outstanding. I ordered the 12oz KC strip, which was cooked well but lacked seasoning on one side. The steak was sourced from Midwest farms and was overall very good. The loaded baked potato was decent but slightly burnt on the bottom. The macaroni and cheese was mediocre, tasting like velveta with melted cheddar. The bread pudding for dessert was tasty, though the bourbon flavor in the sauce was overpowering. Overall, Hamilton's Urban Steakhouse is a good restaurant with a solid steak near downtown St. Louis. I would recommend it to others, but it falls short of being a Top 10 Steakhouse."

"The atmosphere was good, the noise level was fine, it was the food that was lacking. The service was very good, nice wait staff and reception! The sweetness of the sauces in our Mexican food was very different and not in a good way! Even the salsa for the chips was more like spaghetti, how do you mess up something simple like salsa??? We think the worst was the enchilada sauce, sweet sauce come on, cinnamon doesn't go with enchiladas, I don't care if it's California, it doesn't taste good, sorry!!!!!!"

"Cool restaurant in downtown St. Louis. Bonus it was within walking distance of many hotels. Excellent service and friendly staff. The sushi was fantastic! The tempora shrimp was amazing and came with tempura vegetables too. The house salads were great. It was also very affordable. The sushi bar is in the middle of the two story restaurant. They were packed on a Friday at 7 pm but we only had to wait a few minutes while they cleared a table."

"We came for my boyfrienda birthday. It was extremely disapppointing. The food was awful and over priced. There was also limited selection. The caesar salad was terrible and full of the ier yellow lettuce that made it bitter. I hadnt been to the restaurant for years and it has significantly gone down hill. I was speaking to an acquaintance and he had the same opinion.Service was ok but slow. Actually the busboy forget to give one of us water and when we asked for it, he argued with us and said he did give it.Truly was a waste of moey but more importantly ruined the birthday celebration."
