"We had requested our bacon to be cooked extra crispy since we know that at Cracker Barrel, it’s often not done that way. We mentioned this at the time of ordering to help save time for both the waitress and ourselves. However, when the food finally arrived, the bacon was barely cooked and my husband received one piece cut in half. We had to ask the waitress if we could return the bacon so it could be cooked longer, but she seemed annoyed and said she would have to find a plate for us to hand it over. Ideally, she should have offered to bring us a fresh plate of bacon prepared correctly. I understand that since Covid, many restaurants are experiencing staff shortages and mistakes can happen. However, it’s important how such situations are handled, and a lack of empathy is disheartening. Additionally, we noticed that the portion sizes have become smaller while prices remain the same or have even increased. This is frustrating, especially when the overall experience is so negative. When we went to the front desk to settle our bill, I shared our experience with the cashier, but she simply acknowledged it without offering any solution or reassurance that they would improve in the future. I’m not seeking compensation; I just wanted someone to recognize our situation and commit to providing a better experience next time. I also sent an email to customer service but have yet to receive a response."

I understand that ordering at 8 PM might be risky, but I was disappointed with my Country Fried Steak—it was bland and cold, with the gravy having already congealed. The hashbrown casserole was so overcooked and stale that it ended up being crunchy. What a shame!

The Barrel Cheeseburger was served cold, dry, and lacking flavor. The loaded fries were soggy and barely had any toppings. The gravy for the Chicken Fried Steak arrived in a congealed, bowl-shaped lump. The Chicken Fried Steak itself was hard, dry, and also cold. Overall, it was a highly unappetizing meal, even after trying to reheat it.

I ordered all the delicious dishes: fried chicken, okra, and apples. Everything was incredibly tasty—just like Dr. Rev. Cooks promises. I was a bit disappointed that I forgot to use my gift card from donating blood, but it's alright because I'll definitely be coming back. My server seemed really busy, so they might be hiring! I always used to order the pancakes with blackberry, but they've removed it from the menu. This time, I tried the pancakes with strawberries, and I was really disappointed. They were made with canned strawberries and were way too sweet. After the waitress brought the bill, she ignored me even when I called for her. Eventually, a different waiter came to help me with a box. I definitely won't be returning.

Gross gross gross gross! The saltiest ickiest meal! We love our Cracker Barrel location near our home so we figured we would eat at this one since it was on our road trip! Absolutely not equal to the one we are used to! The server was very nice butunfortunately new so she didn?t seem to know much about anything. The fried chicken which I was told only came with a mix ofwhite and dark- came out with 2 breasts and I hate breast meat lol. Just my luck! My husband left the bacon on his plate basedon how undercooked it was. The biscuits were salty, the gravy was gluey and YUCK! The corn muffins were rocks! We spent $35 tobe sick essentially.
