"Hopefully this review won't be taken as just a negative and will help push some change. This is my honest opinion: If you're going to eat here do not get anything that an elderly person wouldn't typically order! It will probably be stale or straight out of date? I ordered these jalapeño poppers and the breading was so stale there is no way these hadn't been sitting for a long time. They were greasy, falling apart and the breading just had a very bad taste. You can see in the photo how they crumble and if these aren't something that sell I'd truly recommend just taking them off the menu entirely. I also got the corn beef hash, it left a lot to be desired it truly lacked flavor, and tasted identical to the great value canned corn beef hash. The rice pudding was good and the chilli cheese fries were decent the actual fries were great but the chili did have a slight bitterness to it. I also need to point put cleanliness because the cups of water had chunks of food in them. The server was polite and I hold nothing against the server! Overall there was nothing that will have me coming back, my suggestion is to add some flavor, and pay more attention to the quality of your food."

The waitress was excellent, but unfortunately, the food was quite disappointing. I ordered the country skillet, which turned out to be a messy pile of slop, featuring the blandest gravy I've ever tasted. I could hardly manage to eat half of it. I had a wonderful experience thanks to Loren's excellent service! The food was amazing, and the atmosphere had a refreshing chill. It's refreshing to visit a place that’s not overly reliant on technology. This beautiful nostalgic setting truly takes you back to the good old days before everything changed in the country.

We had one of the best culinary experiences we've enjoyed in years at this Coney Island. The food was outstanding—flavorful without being greasy or overly salty. The staff was friendly and attentive without being overwhelming. Everything was well-prepared, the portion sizes were generous, and prices were on par with similar establishments. I would highly recommend this Coney Island.

Nice clean restaurant, friendly folks. My service was a little off for it being relatively slow. Didn 't leave me with a straw I had to go get one. said she bring me some napkins and didn 't. My coffee cup sat empty until I waved in the air. Food was good, had a gryo and fries (I liked the fries). I wish yoga pants or whatever would go out of style. Not only in restaurants but in general. Waitress was great but nothing else! Had pieces of uncooked fries in my water before the food even came (somebody said something about them preparing food in the kitchen sink so I suppose that would make sense). Rice pudding was strikingly average and the only decent thing I ordered. chili cheese fries were completely unseasoned. Definitely will never come back but if you smoked all your tastebuds away or are over 60 and white you 'll probably enjoy the uninspired and bland food options

I ordered a half portion of the raspberry custard French toast, the Dan breakfast burrito, and an ABI. The French toast was incredibly delicious, sweet but perhaps a bit too indulgent. The burrito was quite tasty as well, although it was packed with fresh potatoes, making it a bit overwhelming to finish. The servers were extremely friendly and attentive, which made for a pleasant experience. While the table was clean, the floor underneath could have used a good sweeping. Given how busy they were, I can't fault them too much for that. Overall, everything else was in order, and I look forward to returning in the future.
