"We have had meals here prior without the bad service, even sitting at the bar, waiting for service. Yes, later in the evening, but, staff was more interested in chatting with each other than helping customers. Cleaning around us, but, with no eye contact seeing that we are ready to order. I get it, everybody wants to be done with their shift but your tip hinges on how much (and) how long you take to get back to me, a closed menu means we are ready to order. We had had a very long drive and just wanted some guick and fast food"

Always had good service but the last two take outs have been terrible. $60 worth of food and no plastic utensils, no ketchup for the fries, no syrup for the pancakes, Not one condiment. I guess I should be glad they cooked the eggs.

Food was adequate Server was responsive and courteous Until it was time to check out I didn't like the attitude of the server inregards to tipping as she stood there with an impatient look as the cashier was taling up and I made my selection of a tip . I felt like I was being forced to tip ! Because after I tipped the attitude of the walkaway from the Server ? I was sorry I even tipped at all ! View menu

Upon entering the restaurant, I found the ambiance to be quite mediocre. The menu boards were sticky and lacking in vibrancy, which set a disappointing tone. It took over 10 minutes for someone to take our order, and when the food finally arrived, it was cold. The cold egg was particularly unappetizing, and the jam container was far from clean. Overall, this was not the experience I had hoped for while spending a family day out.

Additionally, the service was subpar, and the atmosphere was less than inviting. I had to get up and pay because our waitress never brought us the check. To make matters worse, the girl at the register tried to shortchange us on the kids-eat-free offer, which is valid from 4 PM to 10 PM. My wife had to point it out, and the girl just rolled her eyes before correcting it. I definitely do not recommend this Denny's in Paso Robles at all. What a disappointment!

It is the worst I have ever visited, there is no one to greet us at the entrance or give us a table, not even a hello could be heard, when we were finally able to sit down they did not bring us the menu, they focused on receiving and serving white people well, This was at night, I only speak for the people who were there on that shift, I don't know what it will be like at other times, but the employees are the ones who make the difference so that a customer can speak well of the place. I really hate to say this, but the food was terrible! The server never checked on us, or we would have let him know about our issues with the meal. The prices are outrageous, especially considering the quality of the food. My son paid for his meal, and thankfully, he didn’t pay for mine. I think he just felt guilty for ordering food when we didn’t even eat it. We ended up taking our meals home in to-go boxes, and sadly, we threw them in the trash. Sorry, Denny's, but your quality has really declined.

"I guess I'm a little old school if I get a good meal at a good price with decent service, that's my minimum expectation ..... so, I try to balance price and quality We come to Paso Robles several times a year with friends. We had the pleasure of dining at Thomas Hill Organics during restaurant month they rotated weekly a fixed price meal special from their chefs. The menus looked great and the price pretty reasonable for three courses salad, entree, dessert (approx $50). To be honest, the regular menu might or might not have swayed us to come (since there are so many other choices in Paso), but the special dinner definitely made up our minds, The food was visually appealing and delicious with small touches the lovely carrot garnish on the fish and toothsome sherry sauce on the gnocchi (working from memory here and yes, I should have written this review sooner Both the salad and tart were a cut above an ordinary green salad and cake the ingredients fresh, tasty and harmonious. All things considered, we felt that we had a delicious meal that was above the ordinary at a very fair price. Portions were just right not too little and not too much. I hope THO continues with a prix fixe option since we travel with friends, it makes it a lot easier to split the bill as well as providing us something special to look forward to. As for service: the kitchen seemed a little slow, but the server was attentive enough to let us know that we had not been forgotten. That's all we ask is to not feel like we are being ignored. Staff were properly masked and dressed sharply and that also gave us a feeling of relaxed elegance. The server did not balk at handling separate checks (sometimes the best way to keep good friendships ! by allowing everyone freedom to order what they want). Although this was our first visit, we were made to feel like we were appreciated. I know that the owner reads these reviews (thank you so this is my chance to say honestly: please continue with a monthly or weekly special (monthly is fine for us at a reasonable price. I think that would make THO our go-to place when in Paso !!"
