"I recently visited Bethel to see my sister and made a reservation for six people for brunch, having not been to this restaurant since its ownership changed years ago. The atmosphere was lovely, and the menu seemed promising, but unfortunately, our brunch experience left us feeling disappointed. Some of our dishes were served ice cold. I ordered the avocado toast with eggs, but it turned out to be guacamole—likely store-bought—rather than fresh avocado. The eggs were cold, the toast was soggy, and the spicy sauce on top tasted more like jarred tomato sauce than a fresh condiment. On a positive note, the warm donuts we shared were delightful, and some members of my group enjoyed their meals more than others. Our server was attentive and did a great job, but I didn't voice my concerns about my dish because she was busy, and I didn't want to wait for a remake. To make matters worse, we were seated outdoors, and the heat lamp in our area was broken, leaving us feeling quite chilly."

"My son and I decided to stop by on a whim after finding our first choice, House of Yoshida, closed for lunch. While they market fish and chips as their main dish, they also have a diverse selection of South Asian cuisine. Neither my son nor I had tried Pakistani food before, so we were eager to explore something new. Although it took a few minutes for our meals to be prepared—crafted fresh in a clay oven—they arrived hot and absolutely delicious. The flavors were spicy yet rich with subtlety, using fresh ingredients. I'm not one to give out 5-star reviews easily, so when I say this little fish and chip shop is a true gem, you can trust that I mean it."

"Tried for the first time tonight based on such high reviews. I don't really ever rate anything but I was so dissatisfied I had to in this case. Honestly the first bite of each slice, we ordered 3 different pizzas, was great. Unfortunately after that fist bite there was only burnt charcoal crust with ash flavor. Each 12 pie was more like an 6 with an oversized burnt crust. But...the most important thing to take away if ordering is that they have the absolute worst french onion soup I have ever eaten. I hope they remove it from their menu asap. The onions were raw and crunchy, the broth had no flavor, you could taste the flour, there was no bread, and the container was only half way filled. Being an Italian restaurant I understand not being the best at said soup but they don't know how to make it and should remove it from their menu asap. Overall very disappointing. I have no clue why they have such good reviews. Can't be because of the pizza nor the soup. Never wasting money there again. Total miscue and bummer."
