"Tried for the first time tonight based on such high reviews. I don't really ever rate anything but I was so dissatisfied I had to in this case. Honestly the first bite of each slice, we ordered 3 different pizzas, was great. Unfortunately after that fist bite there was only burnt charcoal crust with ash flavor. Each 12 pie was more like an 6 with an oversized burnt crust. But...the most important thing to take away if ordering is that they have the absolute worst french onion soup I have ever eaten. I hope they remove it from their menu asap. The onions were raw and crunchy, the broth had no flavor, you could taste the flour, there was no bread, and the container was only half way filled. Being an Italian restaurant I understand not being the best at said soup but they don't know how to make it and should remove it from their menu asap. Overall very disappointing. I have no clue why they have such good reviews. Can't be because of the pizza nor the soup. Never wasting money there again. Total miscue and bummer."

A recruiter for a modeling agency *needs* to visit this restaurant. I felt like I was surrounded by a more inclusive A&F catalog. The food and drinks were pretty great too.

Fantastic food! This place is a must-visit if you're in Danbury, CT. The pizza and wings were delicious, and the hospitality was even more impressive. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Service was a bit slow despite being one of the only patrons there. The pizza dough had that classic wood fired flavor (as they have a wood fired stove) but was a bit chewier than anticipated. Good nonetheless. Menu has MANY selections. Worth checkingout! View menu

Traveled to Danbury from South Florida and stumbled upon this GEM! Food was incredibly delicious. Had the short rib ravioli and am still dreaming of how good it was ???????? the banana bread pudding was the BEST WE?VE ever had! Cannot wait to visit on ournext trip!

excellent pizza and crystal was a charming server while I was eating at the bar and enjoying a delicious stout. creative options for pizza. I wanted to try something that I could not get elsewhere, so went with the Fig-get about it: a white pizza with burrata and Gorgonzola cheese, prosciutto, pistaziio, minze and extra virgin olive oil. stellar! I was traveling through Danbury and was pleasantly surprised to stop here for lunch with my family. The pizza dough is first class and rivals any Neapolitan style pizza I?ve had. The pizza comes out slightly charred as expected. Which can be a surprisedto those not use to this style of pizza. If I lived in the area I?d frequent it and explore the rest of the menu.

It's ok but certainly nothing to write home about. I'm new to trying different restaurants in Danbury so comparing this place to my previous meal at Dolce, there simply was no comparison at the same price point. I had Chicken Parmesan at both places. AtStanziato's the chicken was gristly and tough. Their tomato sauce is bland. Dessert, tartufo, was also somewhat of adisappointment. Served hard as a rock with not much flavor. The atmosphere is essentially one step above a pizzeria. Perhaps allthe 5 stars came from folks who ordered their pizza? If I were you though, definitely skip their entrees.

"The food is decent, and I used to enjoy visiting this place regularly, but that all changed on Sunday, October 15, 2023. I was genuinely shocked by how I was treated. To give you some context, I’m a middle-aged woman, and it wasn’t busy when I walked in, so I can’t accept that as an excuse for the poor service. For the past month, I’ve been on oxygen therapy due to a lung condition and carry a portable concentrator that lasts about two hours. This allows me to get out of the house without any issues in other restaurants—until I came to Orem’s. I arrived alone but requested a table for two because I usually come here with a group of about ten people on Sunday mornings. On that day, however, the staff was incredibly unhelpful and dismissive. I asked for a table near an outlet to recharge my oxygen, and the waiter repeatedly told me “NO!” in a harsh manner. It wasn’t a polite “I can’t accommodate that right now,” but a flat-out refusal to seat me. When I spoke to the manager at the register, he lacked kindness and compassion. He treated my request as if it were completely unreasonable, responding with a loud and dismissive “No” in front of other customers, which was quite embarrassing. The manager never offered any alternative solutions like takeout or suggested another table with an outlet available, nor did he express any apology or willingness to help me. It felt as though they were making no effort to accommodate me or treat me with respect. I left the restaurant feeling humiliated and disrespected, and I was appalled when I later shared the experience with my friends. Overall, the food quality might deserve a rating of three stars, but the lack of care and accommodation I received during my visit left a sour taste in my mouth."
