"This place has terrible management apparently. I used to love coming to diablos in Athens (which apparently closed down) but this place has ridiculous corporate micromanagement. First off nothing is fresh anymore. I always get the same thing, double chicken bowl with all of the cold items (lettuce, cheese, onions, etc) on the side so they don 't get soggy on the way home. Apparently because they 're in separate containers even though it 's all for the same bowl, they were going to charge me another $10 for a veggie bowl . I won 't be back, rather give my money to chipotle, who doesn 't have absurd rules like this. Not to mention the lettuce was brown and the customer service was terrible. No wonder the Athens store went out of business."

Food is good if you eat it like once every few months. You realize exactly how bland it is when you eat there a few times in a month.

This was my first time trying this place and it was really good. I was here visiting from out of town and my daughter has been telling me about it.

We had this restaurant cater our employee lunch today. Everyone was extremely helpful from the initial quote to the delivery and setup. They made the whole process easy and stress-free. Thank you again!

I have been eating at diablos for a couple of years now. It used to be good but the overall level of service has gone downhill tremendously. Employees seem bothered by you being there, and are generally just unpleasant. Hopefully this gets fixed before they decline any more. View menu

This restaurant is incredibly tasty! We make sure to stop by every time we are in the Augusta area. It reminds us of Moe's, Freebirds, or Chipotle with its similar setup and menu options. They even have chargers available for customers who are on the go and running low on cell battery. The location we visited was very clean.

Diablos wasn't our first choice to eat this evening but we actually enjoyed it. The ingredients looked a bit sketchy and not fresh but they tasted fine. The employees were nice even though we got there about a half hour before closing. I will be visiting again in the future. My wife got the chicken bowl and I got the chicken burrito. It was lots of food.

"Hands down the best food I've had in Augusta. In Augusta for work, and have been trying out various restaurants with the work crew. This place I is the first that had me saying I'm coming back. EVERYTHING was good! Seating is limited and there was a short (10min) then from there it's either buffet style or takeout option. We dined in, which gave me a chance to sample EVERYTHING. I started with the salmon in lemon sauce. Not overcooked and just delicious. This was my favorite. Seconds were had. Next up was the fried pork loin. Probably my least favorite protein but still good. I'm not much of a pork person and still enjoyed. Then the barbeque chicken. This..was..good. seasoned to the bone. For sides, there was some corn and lima beans and plain rice. After this, we had the beef gumbo. The gumbo truth be told was more a soup. For me gumbo needs to be a little thicker...heartier. Whatever you want to call it delicious. The beef was seasoned well, tender and the broth flavoured with okras. There was also a salad bar, and I just had a fresh salad. Typical salad toppings with some.black olives and jalapenos to spice it up a little. Not sure about the dressing, I did without. Then everything was topped off with the peach cobbler. I enjoyed this as well, probably because it was not overly sweet. But I know people are passionate about their cobbler, so opinions will very. All in all, I'm definitely going back and look forward to different daily dishes. We were told when leaving tomorrow (Friday) is fried chicken day."

"My significant other and I went to Augusta to celebrate our 5-year anniversary and asked friends in the area for recommendations. This was one of the top recommended restaurants and we were NOT disappointed. First off, we’re from Atlanta, so we’re used to really nice fine dining experiences. The food was absolutely incredible. We had steaks and the shrimp and grits as well as 2 appetizers and a side of Mac and cheese. We also had several cocktails that were creative and delicious! I’m writing this review in late December when we went the first week in November solely because it’s been on my mind to leave this review for Victoria, our incredible waitress. I know sometimes reviews can mean a lot to an owner (so I’m really hoping you see this! and I think this woman deserves some sort of raise or bonus because she’s the best waitress I’ve had in years. She made our whole dining experience. Without her, it would’ve been great food and drinks, but she made the entire experience absolutely wonderful. We were a very late reservation, so by the end of our meal the restaurant closed. Yet she still came out with a chocolate dessert and creme brûlée on a tray, said it was on her and thanked us for spending our evening with them. She said to take as long as we wanted and that just meant so much to us. So thank you Victoria. We hope our paths cross again, you’re incredible "
