Extremely overpriced! A single BBQ sandwich and a side of coleslaw cost about $10! Additionally, there was only one employee working.

The food is fantastic! The vegetables are always fresh. I absolutely love the beef barbecue, and today I also tried the chicken, which was excellent!

The food was good, but the meat was a bit dry. I ordered a two-meat plate with chicken and beef brisket. The fries were just right, and the blondie brownie was really delicious. View menu

This can be a very good place for BBQ if you make the right choices. At the moment, that would be the beef brisket and mashed potato casserole. Most everything else is quite average. The pulled pork is lame, no bark. Most of the sides seem like they are from cans. Beef brisket and potato casserole. That's it.

The restaurant is located on a corner near a strip mall with a grocery store and a small Mexican restaurant next door, so the traffic can get quite busy. However, there's plenty of parking available both in front of and behind the building.

I recently picked up an online order that included an XL Mac & Cheese and a large baked beans. The Mac & Cheese was well-wrapped with a lid and saran wrap. However, when I placed the bag in my car, the lid of one cup of baked beans spilled all over my car. How was I supposed to know I needed to check the lids on the cups? That situation was frustrating enough, but I was also surprised to find that the “large” order of baked beans was actually just two small cups. Really?? I left feeling quite disappointed. View menu

I placed my order in advance, giving plenty of time, but still had to wait 15-20 minutes for my food. Once I got home, I discovered that one of my sides was missing. The food itself was only average, at best, and wasn’t worth the price we paid. I can now remove this restaurant from my BBQ list. The only positive about Dickey's is that they are open on Sundays when our two favorite spots, G Brand and Tamez, are closed. If it had been any other day of the week, I wouldn't have even considered trying this place.

Let me start by saying that the service here is great. The people working here are always so and have gone out of their way to provide great service. Unfortunately the food is pretty underwhelming. For the price, I was expecting something much better in quality. The only meat out of everything my family ordered that was any good was the brisket. Everything else was not great, lukewarm, and just not that great in taste. The sides were also not enjoyable; my wife's bean tasted like a can of Bush's beans that we'd make at home. All in all, disappointing.

The food was outstanding with a fantastic variety of BBQ sauces. The macaroni was creamy, served hot, and very flavorful, while the baked beans were excellent. The corn on the cob, dipped in butter, was absolutely delicious. The service was top-notch, with a wonderful staff who greeted us with smiles. Unfortunately, the ice machine was down during my visit, but I was pleasantly surprised by the best pecan pie I've had in years, which made up for the lack of ice cream! There was a wide selection of meats and sides available. Overall, it was one of the best briskets I've had in Athens, and I had a great experience. I will definitely be returning! View menu
