"I was excited when another sushi restaurant opened on College Avenue. After checking out their online menu and photos when they first launched, I went in with pretty low expectations. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the sushi was fresh and beautifully presented. The main issue lies in the atmosphere and decor of the place; it doesn't quite match the quality of the food, which has a very divey restaurant vibe. It took me a while to convince my husband, who is quite a sushi snob, to give Ding a try, but now he's a fan too. If the restaurant had a nicer ambiance, we would probably visit more often, though we do order delivery sometimes."

Ramen and sushi were top notch...teriayaki were simple and not up to par with the other items...but would go again and stick to noodles and sushi. Service was very good as well.

my seafood rays were bland and uninteresting. my two companions had grilled chicken Udon, in which nicely proved to be carrot chips and the broth was tasteless. we cost the sushi lunch there, but this evening meal was not good.

I recently visited a new sushi restaurant in Rockridge, and I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. The service was very friendly, and the sushi prepared at the kitchen bar was excellent. I really hope this place sticks around, as I believe it will become increasingly popular. I’ll definitely be returning.

Wow! This restaurant is a significant upgrade from its previous occupant, The Claremont Diner. Ding is definitely a fresh and modern addition to the Rockridge dining scene. They offer a great variety of sushi rolls and sake for both lunch and dinner. Additionally, the staff is incredibly friendly, particularly the sushi chef.
