"Yesterday I enjoyed possibly my favorite tacos ever. Don Taco has been on my list to try. I had a meeting near there and stopped in. I had three tacos: Carne asada, al pastor and carnitas. All three were delicious. All three had slight crispy edges on the meat which I really like. Don Taco has several salsa/ hot sauces to choose from. I used their red, which is their spiciest for the carne asada and carnitas. I was recommended to use the orange sauce which has pineapple as an ingredient for the al pastor. I didn't detect pineapple but it was very flavorful and a great pairing. If all this wasn't good enough, they gifted me a fresh-made tortilla which was wonderful. A little gal in the corner was making them. You got to love that. It was lunch time, but I noticed they serve margaritas and other cocktails. It doesn't look like that kind of a joint. I'm writing yet another review because after a year of trying carnitas tacos at every other food truck and eatery in the area, I am happy to say that Don Taco is still the champion. You know why Don Taco will always be the best? Because they take the time to crisp up the carnitas on the griddle before serving it to you, and they have the option of fresh-made corn tortillas. (no need to double up your crumbling store-bought-nonsense-tortillas). This is why Don Taco gets my business again and again. This and plenty of other reasons like the service, the salsa bar, the atmosphere... but mainly this. I will eat here until someone physically stops me.

I had a terrible experience with the raw birria at this restaurant. It was full of bones and nearly impossible to cut. When I asked to have it replaced, the manager refused, insisting that's how it was supposed to look. I paid over $20 for a dish that consisted mainly of tortilla and broth, as the meat was inedible! The service was honestly really disappointing. I can't believe I traveled all the way from Seaside to eat here. I should have gone to Norma's, which is an excellent place! The food here was not only unattractive but also greasy—definitely not goat meat, as goats don’t have that much fat. From the looks of it, it's more likely sheep! I definitely do not recommend this place.
