"We have come here for coffee and dessert several times before and really enjoyed it. Tonight was a huge disappointment. Four of us decided to try dinner here. The service was poor. Nobody came to ask how our food was and it was terrible for three of the four people. The quiche was burnt and as a result very dry. Two people barely started their quiche, eating only a couple of bites. When informed of how poor the food was, the response was: "The quiche is made fresh every day" followed by, "Would you like me to package it up for you?" Not even an offer of a free coffee. Would not recommend it and will not be back."

A little bit expensive for a breakfast and really noisy! But it was good

I went for a quick lunch since the place is at walking distance from the St. Joseph Oratory. Recommend to go.

Located just around the corner from St. Joseph's Oratory, a must see on your visit to Montreal, this gem of a patisserie/bistro is great as a lunch stop or coffee break. Mouth watering croissants, pastries, sandwich baguettes, delectable salads and cookies make you think you have died and gone to heaven.

A friend recommended this place highly. We visited this restaurant before going to the St. Joseph Oratory. You can't miss the place. It looks like a Parisian cafe. It's been a there since 1952. The menu has salads, appetizers, sandwiches, soups, pizzas, pastry, coffees, and many more. We ordered four different kinds of sandwichs. The prices were reasonable and the service was prompt and cordial. We will definitely be back next time. View menu

I was looking for a place with really good pain au raisin and croissants on our trip to Montreal . Found a great review from TripAdvisor and paid a visit. The place exceeded my expectations as the croissants and raisin danish were extremely fresh and buttery. Try the rum raisin pain au raisin. We sat in the little park just outside the cafe and ate really enjoyed our purchase. We even stopped by on our way out of town to do it again the next day. Looking forward to my next trip to the city and this cafe.

We met Victoria, the owner, by chance the night before sharing stories and tequila with us. Her restaurant is something right out of Paris, with sandwiches to die for, and desserts that will surely "finish the job". Not to mention how pretty it is to dine outdoors without crowds. Make sure you know you will be taking home extra food and desserts now matter how full you feel. Bottom line: include it in your trip itinerary. It's near St. Joseph Oratory so after you have prayed, you can eat whatever you want!!Jamie
