"I noticed they offered caffeine-free chamomile tea, which I love. While trying to open the box to retrieve a tea bag, I struggled a bit, but Tristan noticed and kindly showed me how to get it out. It was nice to see the option for individual tea bags, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. Later, when I went back to order hot chocolate for my mom, I realized I couldn’t find my credit card and started to panic. I asked around in the doughnut assembly area, and a staff member offered to help look for it. When I returned to Tristan to see if he'd accidentally handed it back to me, he seemed a bit frustrated and mentioned, “We don’t keep credit cards.” Thankfully, I eventually found it in my car, which was a huge relief! I called the store an hour later to thank the girl who answered the phone and to express my gratitude to Tristan for all his help. If I could, I’d give this place more than five stars! I’ll definitely be returning. The food is great—fresh and made to order—and the staff is very friendly."

If you're craving something sweet, I would recommend this place. However, I found that the chocolate had an unusual taste that didn't quite sit right with me.

You won't find fresher donuts anywhere else! My kids love coming here because they offer unique, made-to-order donuts. I tried the mocha flavor, and it was delicious!

I’m never going to buy donuts from Krispy Kreme or Dunkin’ again. These were absolutely amazing! And they were even cheaper than what I would pay for a dozen at Krispy Kreme!

No one can beat the variety and quality of Duck Donuts. I got the Blueberry Lemonade, Cookies and Cream, The Flip-flop, French Toast, The Boardwalk, and a Strawberry Confetti. They were all amazing and completely different in taste and texture. View menu

Fresh and delicious donuts with a wide variety of toppings to choose from. Kids will love watching the donuts being made as they come out in a row. Be prepared for a slight delay in picking up your order, as the donuts are made to order and served warm. The wait is definitely worth it, and the donuts will never let you down.

If you're a fan of cake donuts, this place is a must-try. There are plenty of excellent donut options in the area, but we keep returning here. I enjoy some of the savory varieties, while my kids prefer the classic, sweet flavors. Watching the donuts being made is always a fun experience too! The coffee is pretty good as well.

The strawberry milkshake was truly amazing! It brought back fond memories of my childhood with strawberry Nestle Quik, but in a delightful and fresh manner. The breakfast sandwich and latte were spot on, and the freshly baked donuts with their unique flavors were exceptional. We're definitely looking forward to having breakfast for dinner again tonight! The staff at this restaurant are quick and efficient, which is a plus considering the long lines. If you choose to dine in, be aware that the space is quite limited, with only two tables and bar-style seating that can accommodate around three people. As for the donuts, they are incredibly fluffy and airy while also being crisp and moist. They're not overly sweet, making them a great choice as a base for a sandwich.

I tried these donuts for the first time, and wow, they were delicious! Each one had a cake-like texture that made every bite enjoyable. Instead of the usual dense, traditional donut feel, these were light, fluffy, and incredibly easy to eat. Every donut was equally delightful, and they were frosted right in front of us. [From top left to right, then bottom left to right] Ants Marching, Halloween Mist, Spider Web, Lemon Coconut, Chocolate with Peanuts, and Peanut Butter Paradise. What an experience! My personal favorite was definitely the Spider Web donut, topped with cinnamon sugar and a drizzle of vanilla.

"I love to support local caffes and hopefully find new ones to add my favorite list. we live in durham and have a full of excellent coffee shops with locally roasted beans. when we found ourselves shopping in Morrisville/Cary furniture yesterday, I searched google and found meeple’s close by with excellent reviews. I didn't know this was the board game coffee shop I heard from until I got in. I think that explains the high ratings and popularity, not necessarily the coffee. I admit, the board game spectacle is pretty cool. the reason I give this 2 stars is because 1 the coffee is waaaaay more expensive than any other coffee shop in the triangle; 2 the espresso roast is a bit burned tasting like dieucks, but not terrible; and 3 the service is incredibly slow. I ordered an ice-cold latte with milk. this drink cost me $7 before the drink. for a 16 ounce drink! at the day before I had $6 for the best tasting hafermilch mocha I had in a local coffee shop and it was a 24 oz drink (new world caffe in raleigh.) so the quality doesn’t add to the extravagant cost of espresso drinks at meeple’s when compared to the dozens of other local coffee shops we have visited the these are airport prices! the drink was decent, not the best lavendel latte I had (cloche coffee in durham deserved this title in front of location, the well coffee shop in boston deserves the highest honor), so I admit it for the greatest part, but it was not worth the price tag. the brat wasn't my favorite. it had a bit of a burning taste like dieucks is famous. because I had a lavender latte, it was more subtle, but I could still say that it was roasted in the aftertaste. my man tasted it and was not a fan of espressos, although his favorite drink is a lavender. he only took one and said that was enough. Maybe we're just coffee-snobs, because we're the type that pays $25/lb for 100% cona coffee beans and they're regularly sent to us. I expect the price to be the same as the quality. the service was also very slow. it took 10 minutes to go my icy latte. during this time the girl made only 1 latte and a cup of tea for a few dining rooms. other coffee shops would have scrubbed 10 cups in the same time. the place was busy playing with people games, but don't order coffee drinks. only 2 other customers came in the 10 minutes I waited, and they got their coffee pretty fast as they were cold roast coffees that did not need the espresso machine. so it was not as if they were so busy or with orders secured. there was literally only one in front of me to make one of these objects only a cup of tea that does not require much effort. they had 3 employees, but apparently only this one girl could drink an espresso while the others were busy. the concept is unique and interesting, but I will not return. the price marking did not justify the quality or the lack of this of the small one. I think what they really pay is the experience, not the product."
