"EDIT FOR CLARIFICATION: Gelato is denser than ice cream, so the portion sizes being different than that of a regular ice cream shop are justified. The owner responded and helped me clarify this point. 5/5 service and 5/5 product. The original review that I wrote follows:This place lives up to its name! It means here 's a little and although the portions are small, I think it 's still worth it since you 're getting gourmet-quality gelato anyways. The service is impeccable. There are at least two people manning the front and that helps speed up service, as it can get busy at times. Also, they let you try up to 3 flavors before you make your decision. They also separate the flavors into cups if you buy 2 scoops or more but they know that the flavors wouldn 't blend well when melted. There 's also a little terrace in the back to sit down and hang out. So even the ambiance is that of a welcoming European gelato shop. Will definitely be back when I 'm in the area again!"

Easily one of the best gelato shops in the city. Super pure. Obviously pure materials and no syrup flavorings which is so nice.

Great service! We tried Pistacho, Hazelnut and Strawberry..The cones are homemade and delicious..If we come back to LA, we must come back to this place.

Little GEM! With very good gelato! Not the typical one you find in the US…. Tried Pistachio and Strawberry, both excellent! They also have a sitting patio to enjoy! View menu

By far the best gelato I’ve ever had in LA, maybe even in California. I traveled all over Italy and the quality at this place is very, very high, you immediately feel transported in Florence or Rome. I’ll be back!

Wow. This place is phenomenal. The honey flavor was perfection and the house madeWaffle cone is one of the best I have had. This is like a true Italian gelato. The bronte pistachio is also perfect.Price is a hair high, but damn is the wuality better than almost everywhere else in LA. Gives fatamorgana a real challenger!

Undoubtedly the best Ice cream gelato in Los Angeles, in my experience. Whether you’re doing a sweet and light strawberry gelato, or a creamy mint chocolate chip, you can taste the freshness in every ingredient. Couple that with amazingly sweet owners, Alessandro and Alejandra, it’s a winning combo and should be on your list to visit. View menu

This gelato place was amazing. There is a seating area in the back so don't pass by thinking you can't sit down and chill! The owner couple was super nice and explained all the flavors to us so kindly. The taste of gelato definitely feel clean and the texture was awesome. They also let you try their samples with actual spoons instead of plastics so it reduces waste. I had dulce de leche and my friend had a mixture of lemon and lime. You can tell by the quality how thoughtful and careful they crafted the gelatos (I'm not even a dessert/sweet person). Must try!

Wow ? just wow. Spectacular. I’m from a country with a lot of Italians so my standards for gelato are very high and I don’t like most American ice cream. And I’m blown away! This place is run by an adorable couple — a pastry chef and an Italian from Milano. They studied with a gelato expert before opening this store and … wow ?We enjoyed the zabaione, pistachio, and gianduia plus fiordilatte ? The cones are fantastic as well. Everything everything everything is gluten-free, which is so so special ?Absolutely worth the price! Also got a tiramisu and a cookie for later. Excited to try them!

"I never leave bad reviews when I can help, but from our experience last night I only had to say for dinner as a whole was so disappointing, the least and after the output it was just a complete bill. if they come here for a nice dinner, they have great food or steaks please skip. go somewhere else food: we ordered the oysters, lobster bisque, bread basket (the btw is) and the tomahawk steak with sides. the entire meal was nothing special, characterized by the fact that even though our server always say that its just come out of the often his hot we have the broth basket roomtemp and the lobster bisque as a think. none of them were served hot. I give these stars only because of the tomahawk steak in the middle well, it was delicious. it was a hope that it would be good, right? we ordered the familiar and the brussels sprouts, but it came out, served on small dust sacks. small portions. a little taste. Note: they no longer serve the special measurable and sauce for any steak order. bummer ambiance service: la boucherie is on the floor of the hotel so that the prospects in the night are amazing. server were nice and polite. they were attentive and very professional. everything in all, if I can turn back the time, I wouldn't be here at all. the evening has lost its elegance and prices do not justify the disappointing food. I hope they can fix this and bring back the old la boucherie charme and aromen."
