"Stayed on night Oct24 on a business trip. Staff excellent without exception. Rooms are very clean and fairly large. Noise from the street can be an issue if your room faces it. Breakfast was probably one of the best continentals I've had in years. Be warned, breakfast starts at 08:00hrs, Take this into consideration if you have a business meeting in the morning, no problems if your on holiday. The evening meal of lamb stew on a bed of mashed potato was surprisingly underwhelming in taste and portion size. Resteraunt itself is impressive surroundings. I will 100% return when next in area. I highly recommend."

I called in the morning to find out about a reservation for a family and a man attended to me in a very dry, correct but very sparing manner. I had to get the information from him. Very badly. I want to be treated with interest and sympathy. I opt for but hotel since it has given me a very bad impression. If they have responded to me on the phone with that reluctance, I cannot imagine in person. Paradores, take care of those details, which are what differentiate you from the rest of the hotel chains.
