The service at this restaurant is excellent! All three of the staff members I encountered were very friendly and helpful. The cashier assisted me with placing my order. I highly recommend this place! Thank you for a pleasant dining experience!

The restaurant is very clean and the customer service is great. I ordered the double chicken corn salad and it was huge. There was plenty of chicken, but I wish it had more than just two small slices of avocado. Overall, it was worth the price of $14+. I will definitely return to this location if I am in the area.

When you buy a whole family meal and you ask for green salsa and they give you almost empty containers. Each container is 1.5 oz and they are only serving .5 of salsa in each container. When I got home everybody was disappointed for not having enough salsa . Next time I should ask to give my 10 containers instead of 4 View menu

El pollo loco was craving tostado salad and decided to try the one at el pollo loco. The tostado shell was on point very light and surprisingly retained its crunchy texture even when loaded with toppings. The chicken didn't taste as flavorful though but I didn't mind as I drenched my salad with salsa. The salad was yummy but wish they added more sour cream to the salad!

Are you kidding me?!? This El Pollo Loco charges $6 dollars more for their double chicken avocado salad than all the other El Pollo Loco locations in CA! I was shocked. Their chicken tasted disgusting too . Worst El Pollo Loco I've ever been too. I called the manager and he said it's CA prices. I said NOPE I go to many locations and your prices are 40 percent higher! I even checked the other San Jose locations prices to confirm he has his prices 40 recent higher. This is a chain and prices should be the same in all locations. Never go here! Total BS

I've eaten pollo loco from locations all over California, including central and southern CA. Dismal experience today upon learning that a 10 piece ONLY CHICKEN IS $27.99. This El Pollo Loco location is in the corner of a small plaza, they have plenty of parking here as well. There is no drive thru at this location like their other locations, and it was not busy at all when we stopped by. Not much service, but food came out in a decent amount of time. I ordered the Shredded Chicken Nachos; 2 Pieces Chicken Meal with macaroni cheese, mashed potatoes with gravy, and tortillas; and 2 Shredded Beef Burrito Grillers to share. El pollo loco is a great fast food restaurant. They are clean, they use good quality ingredients, always super fresh, and they are consistently delicious across the board. They are way better than any of their competitors like Chipotle or Taco Bell. No comparison! And their prices are very reasonable. We often order the chicken tostados, which are fantastic. So fresh and the tasty , juicy chicken is grilled and seasoned perfectly. Today, we visited your San Jose location at 1299 S Winchester Blvd, San Jose, CA 95128. Normally, we frequent your location at 1725 Branham Ln, San Jose, CA 95118. We always order the same thing: 2 Keto Burritos with white meat, extra avocado, and one small soda. At the Branham location, we typically pay $24.87 for this order. However, today at the Winchester location, they tried to charge us $43.00 for the exact same order.
