We loved every minute of our visit to this restaurant. The food was from this world (bisteca especially wonderful! and the staff was friendly and friendly. We also met Ambra, the roof dog! You will not go wrong to eat a meal (or more here). Benissimo!

We stayed at dinner in this restaurant and the experience was very good. We ate with a wonderful view of olive trees and vineyards. We ate cacio and pepper, wild boar pappardelle, cut and sausages. Everything was great. Maybe the cut was slightly too tight. Right price. Friendly, smiling and helpful staff. Overall, it was a great experience and I hope to return soon. View menu

We start by saying we were lucky. We called the afternoon for the evening, and we were lucky enough to find a table for two. very lucky, because it does not happen every day to eat at the same time so well and in such a beautiful place. for those who love traditional Tuscan cuisine, this place is absolutely top. we tasted the black croutons, brought, as many, warm and not already on the bread, so that they can be enjoyed and keep warm for all the consumption of the dish. meat seconds (drink and wild boar) one better than the other. all together with two glasses of an excellent quality reserve chianti. What else to say? Well, well, well.

We had dinner on a Monday night so it was understandably very quiet with only a few other diners but we enjoyed our dinners and the chocolate dessert was especially delicious. Could not speak to the views, as it was dark outside, but the woman who served us was very nice and attentive. If you are coming from the south on Via di Santa Caterina, know that this road/walkway alongside the restaurant is closed for construction (at least when we went in late March 2024) and you’ll need to walk all the way around the small village (about 5 min walk) to get to the restaurant entrance. So just be prepared for that or plan to come from the north on Via di Santa Caterina.
