"This restaurant is fantastic—it's so much more than just a café! Almost the entire menu is gluten-free, and their gluten-free pizza is exceptional. The carrot ginger soup is incredible, and the pasta with stir-fried vegetables, including portobello mushrooms and baby spinach, is delightful. The chef is accommodating and prepares dishes to your liking, and he truly knows how to cook!"

"Came here for dinner with my boyfriend because I 've heard about how good their gluten free menu options are and my boyfriend has celiac so reputable GF kitchens are so important. Whenever we make reservations we always note that we are eating GF and make sure to tell the waiter as we order, and noted that he did mark it down. However, my boyfriend was glutened after eating here which bums me out so much! Maybe it was a mixup in the kitchen or some accidental cross contamination which happens, but when a menu is voted as the best GF menu I think I do expect a little more. Their menu does say that they cannot guarantee a 100% GF kitchen, but they do take precautions against cross contamination. We ordered the calamari to start; we 're pretty sure this is how he got glutened but because the dish is on the gluten free menu we assumed it would be fried separately? In the moment it was really good, and the aioli was great. For mains, I tried the Bobby Flay Throwdown Winner (a zucchini lasagna) and my boyfriend ordered the cappesante (a mascarpone sauce pasta with scallops). We were a little underwhelmed for the price of the entrées. The lasagna was good, but better reheated the next day--something I don 't really expect when paying $30 for a veggie lasagna to be completely honest. The cappesante had a really overwhelming lemon flavor that put my boyfriend off, but I didn 't really mind a few days later (after reheating). The scallops on his pasta were cooked nicely. We went in on a Thursday evening and it was busier than I thought it would be, at some points every single seat was filled. We had to wait a long time before our waiter even came by the first time (enough time for both of us to go to the bathroom and come back and finish our water). The ambiance of Nebo is really nice, I loved the look of the interior and I 'm a sucker for good ambient lighting. Maybe we came here on an off day, but for the price and after effects of glutening, I can 't strongly recommend Nebo."

"We have driven by this restaurant many times, so decided to try it out on a date night. The staff was very warm, welcoming, and friendly. We were given recommendations that were delicious in the end. I loved the delicious Sangiovese/Cabernet wine we decided to try as well as the calamari and fish dish we shared. The calamari was crunchy, without being overdone. The fish came whole and the server took the time to debone the fish and give me the crispy and salty skin I said I wanted the most! There is an easy lot to park at behind the restaurant, and plenty of space to sit inside or outside to dine. We will be back for sure!"

"We had a reservations for 5:45 and was seated right away. We were going across the street for a movie that started at 7:10. My husband ordered the rib special and I ordered a side salad. After 30 minutes we asked about our food because we didn't want to be late to the movie. We waited 15 more minutes for our food and had to shove it down our throat so we weren't late to the movie. Didn't make for an enjoyable dinner when we felt rushed to eat. My husband got a cream soda and it wasn't very good so he switched to a root beer. Wasn't as good as in the past."

"This used to be our favorite spot to visit whenever we were in town. Both of us grew up in La Verne and have been dining here for 30 years. However, we’ve noticed that it hasn’t been quite up to par during our recent visits; it just doesn’t feel the same anymore. The service remains outstanding, and our latest visit was an improvement, but I truly hope it can return to its former greatness!"

"The restaurant is quite nice and appears clean. The staff is quick to prepare your food. However, the standout feature should be the coffee, as it is marketed as a café. The quality of the coffee seems to depend on who is behind the counter. When the Latino guy was working at the register, the Colombian coffee and espresso were excellent, but the next day it was a waste of money. The older gentleman at the deli may come across as unapproachable, but he is actually what keeps this place going, and I’ve come to appreciate him. I ended up spending an entire week visiting for breakfast or brunch."

"I was able to treat my husband to a post-leg day breakfast that completely transformed his perception of what a great bagel sandwich should be. He hasn’t stopped raving about it since! I also appreciated having a tofu spread option instead of traditional dairy cream cheese, which is something we never find back home in New England. I had always heard that New York water bagels were the best, and now we are true believers, all thanks to Beyond Bagels!"

"I couldn't resist writing a review! My husband picked up a pizza from John, and we ordered a large one with olives, mushrooms, and green peppers, and half of it with bacon. I have to say, it was absolutely fantastic! It was really hot outside, and I didn't feel like cooking at all. I'm so glad we decided to order from here! It was such a great pizza!"

"Had not been here in more than 10 years and was very glad I chose this place for my business lunch meeting. Food was excellent as I remembered, service was great, being there when we needed something but otherwise leaving us to talk. Prices are fair and it was quite which allowed for good conversation. I don't usually like gnocchi but their pepirosso was to die for as was the chicken parm."

"I am the manager at a local hotel, and having enjoyed the great food and excellent staff and ownership, I always send my guests to Angie's, but here's the kicker... If they don't want to leave their room Angie's will deliver directly to a guests room. That's pretty awesome if you ask me. Keep up the great work guys!!"

"New style Italian, but with most of your favorites offered. Pop's For Italian is really good, often really rich, Italian dining. Garlic Bread this is serious business. Everything about this is right. Tons of garlic, perfectly baked dough, perfect amount of salt. Tried a couple of the spreads, but the bread was way better all by itself. Calamari nicely done! No rubber rings in the batch. Super crunchy batter with great seasoning. Wild Mushroom Fettuccine creamy yet earthy. Delicious and so rich you probably won't be able to finish it in one sitting. Trout Risotto delicious. Served with a couple of asparagus stalks. Kinda small serving of the trout itself. Nana's Gnocchi creamy buttery sauce with Blu Cheese and Italian sausage. Probably the best thing on the menu. Atmosphere They have a giant Statue Of Liberty on display; which seems odd because Lady Liberty was a gift from the French... Service very attentive. No ice in the water or in the refills. No lemon wedges or sugar offered with the Ice Tea. Highly Recommend"

"our meal in kyma was excellent! we have chosen an dinner that includes appetizers, a sortiment of dives with pita and two other of the choice. we have chosen the lobster and the spanakopita, all delicious. others ordered various appetizers and they were also excellent. the Greek salat followed and the main course, larvaki, was our fish of the choice. it was great, but we were quite tired of the time that the main course arrived! (we want to enjoy the rest tonight! our waiter, chris, was efficient and charming, as usual. we celebrated a birthday and our dinner ended with the Greek yogurt, honey and walnuts with a glowing birthday candle. we enjoyed our meal immense and recommend kyma as atlanta’s best!"

"I ordered through Uber Eats, and the restaurant completely forgot to include a breakfast wrap. I called to see if they could help resolve the issue since my wife didn’t receive her breakfast. All they did was apologize and suggested I reach out to Uber Eats for assistance. However, the last time I checked, Uber Eats doesn’t cook or prepare the orders. The food we did receive was quite mediocre. I can't recommend this place, as there are certainly better options in the area. If they genuinely cared about their customers, I think they would have a higher rating."

"C'était samedi soir, donc bien occupé. Nous n'avions pas réservée et avons donc accepté une place au bar. Soirée de filles! Beau resto, belle déco, bon menu et prix raisonnable à première vue. Petit bémol seulement deux serveuses/hôtesses/barmaids pour tout le resto et tout les postes! Bref, ces deux employées faisait tout à elles seules. Chapeau, pour la prestation. Par contre ce n'est pas très agréable quand tu désire passer un bon moment. Ça court de partout, les chaises vibres sous les pas des serveuses qui courent, service froid et sans manière. Au moins la cuisine a fait sortir les assiettes rapidement, et nous n'avons jamais manqué de rien. D'autre part pour la réputation qu'on tente d'y donner, je m'aurais attendu à des employés plus soignés, qui ne servent pas en jeans et t-shirt. Entrée de crevettes délicieuses, de même que le tartare de saumon (quoi qu'un peu insulté de trouver de la Sriracha dans l'assiette) , bon vin, bon prix, mais ne prenez pas le canard. Il était bien trop cuit ou avait traîné sur le comptoir. Il était d'une sécheresse désagréable en bouche, sans parler du mélange des arômes et textures (on essaie trop fort et on en a trop mélangé). On le présente comme un cassoulet, mais ça n'y est pas. Rien de majeur, j'y retournerais tout le même pour donner une deuxième chance."

"We stopped by for lunch on Nov 2nd and our host issued an odd warning that if we are at our table more than an hour we could lose the table to reservation!! Given the fact that there was only one other table occupied; the threat of having to eat our food while standing was completely unnecessary and came across as rude. Our puzzled look caused Pamela to explain that this edict comes from the owner. I guess some people order pizza and never leave! We did order a Margarita Pizza and did indeed left after lunch. The pie had a nice crisp crust but the flavor was unremarkable to cause us to return for the pie. But the Rigatoni Boscaiola was fantastic and well balanced w a flavorful sauce. Recommend the Pasta but not the strange welcome."

"I found both the food and service to be quite good, but the prices felt a bit steep considering the portion sizes. For example, two small stuffed banana pepper halves cost $9 as an appetizer, and four pieces of three cheese ravioli were priced at $15 without any salad or sides. Nevertheless, the food itself was excellent, and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. I also really appreciated the great selection of Cabernet wines."
