"the pasta was really good (only a too salty wire, I took the calamarata), as well as the stewed appetizer accompanied by the flour! the price quality ratio is great, the portions are generous and the staff is very kind and helpful, the courses arrived shortly after taking the commands. we will definitely return to albenga because we spent a pleasant evening advice: call to book because there was really a lot of people thanks for the great dinner!"

"Menù not very wide but special dishes, cured and very gouty. the courteous and smiling staff. I really enjoyed the variety of bread, with grissini and crostini. average/high price but it is worth it. If you're in one of the tables outside the top floor, I think it's worth it twice. I was under and it was a little warm. I recommend it anyway."

"We were excited to go here and chose this place beforehand, we were happy they still had a spot available. The staff was friendly, but it took quite some time for them to take our orders in between the courses. The first time we ordered drinks, only half of the order was delivered and was never delivered to us during the rest of the night. Although we never got all the drinks we ordered, we noticed we were in fact charged for them after checking the bill. When we noticed this we pointed this out to the staff, which apologized and wanted to refund the price of the drinks that we were wrongly charged for. But since there was not enough cash in the register, we were only refunded part of the price of the drinks, which is crazy when you think about it. Basically we were paying for something we never even received. Nonetheless, the first course was very tasty (carprese and zucchini with cheese) and the first pizza (with smoked ham and olives) was too, the other one we got (with prawns and artichoke) was not that good. Based on the food we got I would recommend this restaurant. But unfortunately the service we got was not on the same level, based on which I would not recommend this restaurant."

"Disappointing dinner. The Insalata di Mare was very bland. The squid in curry sounded interesting and different from the usual preparations, but it just didn't work. The curry sauce was good, but the squid were simply boiled and the combination was unpleasant, not interesting. Same with the squid ink pasta with shrimp and coconut milk sauce. The unusual combination just didn't work. Also, for 18 euros one expects more than 2 medium sized shrimp in the dish. The fried calamari were fine, but when you only get rings and no bodies, then you know that they're just out of the freezer bag and right into the fryer. Service was friendly, but not what it should be. We ordered one appetizer and then three mains. The appetizer and two mains came out at the same time, then the third main came much later. Everyplace else we have eaten in Alassio has been great. You can probably do better than here just by picking a place at random."

"This was our third visit and today lunch was awful. Ordered mussels for the appetizer and there was little to no marinera in the pot. I asked for some extra and it took 3 servers to bring it, but they brought a huge bowl of broth to go with the other mussels on the menu not the marinera that I had…they took it away and finally brought some. Then the server rudely asked if I was finally ready for our pasta they brought mine and gave the wrong pasta to my husband they took it back and about 5 minutes later took my away too…about 15 minutes later they brought both of our pasta. My husband’s was supposed to be spicy tomato sauce it literally tasted like tomato paste with no spice. After we paid we were asked if we wanted an after dinner drink as an apology for the food mixup. Normally limoncello is given away anyway for free after dinner so this was so rude. We will never eat there again."
