"One interesting feature is their selection of “flights” of wine—three-wine samplers that are thoughtfully paired together. They offer about six different flights, typically starting with a lighter wine and progressing to a bolder one, allowing you to explore a range of flavors. The bartender was friendly and made good, quick drinks, but overall, my impression of First Crush is that the food is good, but not worth the prices they charge."

Brussels were incredible! Wine options were ok but not exceptional for a wine restaurant.

I was disappointed because it was Thanksgiving week, and they didn’t offer any specials or traditional dishes. It felt a bit odd.

Took forever to take our order, and we're not very helpful when asking about the menu. Servers did not seem like they wanted to be at work.

The restaurant was poorly managed, and the server and hostess were not friendly. The food was mediocre as well. I wouldn’t return. We went to the theater afterwards.

This was a terrible experience. My plate was dirty, the service was terrible, and the food was just a huge salt dump. I had out of town guests and I was embarrassed by this.

This restaurant is a charming spot for a date, and it's not just due to its name. Conveniently situated near Union Square, First Crush provides a lovely ambiance along with decent food. Although the dinner entrees were just alright, their Decadent Chocolate Mousse Cake and Trio of Sorbets were truly outstanding. I highly recommend trying them! View menu

Unfortunately the food took over an hour to arrive. There was 1 server and 1 support staff. My sense is that they were unprepared for the number of tables. The waitstaff was friendly, but overwhelmed. Nice bread and dips, and it was great to have a bottle of water available on the table. With so options in San Francisco, I'd suggest trying another.

The seating arrangement was intimate, with little space between tables, but we didn’t find it intrusive, even though both neighboring tables were engaged in deep conversations. The view from the restaurant is at road level, with the floor positioned just under the street, providing a nice glimpse of passing cars and pedestrians. Located not far from some major hotels, this restaurant is definitely worth a try.

"Earlier this year Salty 's was featured in one of the top 100 places to eat in the Bay Area in 2022, and after trying it a couple times, it 's easy to see why. Quality and flavor, great customer service, it checks all those boxes. I occasionally visit the 24 hour fitness on Van Ness, and Salty 's happens to be just few short blocks away which makes it perfect when I 'm looking for a post-workout sandwich. And for those that know me, I love me my sandwiches. On my latest visit, I decided to go with the 'Glorious B sandwich, which come with turkey, bacon, avocado, pepper jack, veggies, and garlic mayo. The blend of flavors and high quality of the turkey is no wonder it 's at the very top of the menu list. It 's one of those sandwiches, that you can bring to park and not need a ton of napkins to get through. It was well put together, with the ratio of all the ingredients matching well. Nothing overpowering, just sandwich perfection. The size of the sandwich I thought was the perfect size for my appetite. As I 've gotten older I can 't put down as much food as I used to, and after one-half I knew I could 've stopped eating, be content, saved the rest for later. But of course I ate the whole thing and nothing sounds better than taking a quick power nap right after. I love that their menu has so many different sandwich combinations, so definitely take time to check their menu before calling-in/walking-in to order because it 'll definitely save you some time. On my latest visit, I was in and out in 10 minutes. Definitely towards the top of my list of sandwiches in this part of town!"
