"My partner came here yesterday for the first time and told me I HAD to come here today. We’d been trying to try it out but would always come after hours. I am so happy we were able to experience Fish Bone. We’ve eaten at many Caribbean joints in NY and this is definitely at the top of our lists, if not #1. I had a hard time deciding between Roasted Snapper and Steamed Snapper because they both came with everything I love. The woman who took our order made it to where I didn’t have to decide and made adjustments for me to be able to have the best of both worlds. Thank you so much for being patient and accommodating. You’re so warm spirited and kind. Our food was absolutely delicious. My partners food looked as good as mine and we had to force ourselves to try to save leftovers lol. I will be back soon! (by the way that hot sauce you warned me about ?)Highlights!-QUALITY FISH (super meaty/moist, cooked to perfection)-THE PUMPKIN…. Probably the best pumpkin I have ever tried. I loved that it wasn’t a purée.-SERVICE- The woman that took care of us today was super sweet and very receptive. I felt that our food was cooked with care.-MADE TO ORDER- I never understood people complaining about wait times if they want fresh food, I waited only 30 mins, as she promised (and that was because of the additions to my meal) Everything was made to perfection."

Best curry goat in town, hands down it’s always the first thing to go on the menu so you gotta go early.

The food at this West Indian restaurant near my Brooklyn address is delicious and full of flavor. I haven't had the Jamaican beef or chicken patties yet, but I'm looking forward to trying them soon. I'm sure they will be just as tasty.

The food is always excellent from here!!! Today was our one hiccup, which is easily amendable… we received our potato salad on TOP of our escovitch : it usually comes in a different container. Hope that doesn't happen again as I don't really like potato salad. Otherwise this is the best curry goat and escovitch in Brooklyn View menu

First restaurant I called searching for Roast fish, I felt a little skeptical initially but I was definitely satisfied, it tasted as I anticipated not to mention I haven't had roast fish in atleast a few years. Cheers to the chef. (it was made to order and took at least 20mins, I called ahead). (The Pic doesn't do it justice)

I want to start off by saying I found this place by word of mouth. When I got to the location, I was greeted like I was family. Before I placed my order, we had a small convo about food and cooking. We then began my order. I wanted everything. All the food was well prepared and fresh. No canned anything in the building. Hand cut veggies done while we waited. I ordered the fish tea and steamed fish pan with tons of okra pumpkin.Everything was well seasoned but not salty or no taste of msg..... The team treats everyone like family. As I waited for my food several customers came in, each where greeted by name. This place is great. They have tons of love and are blessed people. If you are looking...

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
