Ordered on Doordash and when received I thought bland but no it was flavorful but not heavy. Fresh vegetables and the egg rolls were crispy even after delivery time. I would order again!

The food was outstanding and stayed hot, even after I brought it home. The service was excellent as well; my order was ready when I arrived. There were no hassles or delays. Overall, a fantastic experience with great service and a positive atmosphere!

This restaurant surpasses many others in the area. The eggroll was outstanding, and the crab rangoon was delightful. While the beef skewer had fantastic flavor, it was slightly dry. Nonetheless, the Mongolian beef really shone as the best I've tasted in this region. View menu

Wow, this place is fantastic! The portions are generous, and the Thai and Chinese dishes are absolutely delicious. The kimchi fried rice is phenomenal—truly outstanding! My husband and I have been searching for a great Chinese restaurant since we moved to the Orland/Palos area, and we've finally found our go-to spot!

I ordered egg drop soup, fried rice, Mongolian beef, rangoons, and taro boba. Everything was served hot and tasted amazing, and they even included a complimentary serving of plain fried rice. The prices are very reasonable, and every dish I tried was fantastic. I have enough food to last me for a week! I especially enjoyed the taro boba—it was incredibly refreshing! Overall, I had a satisfying amount of delicious food at a great price!

EXCELLENT! The flavors are wonderfully balanced. I disagree with the reviewer who found it lacking in flavor; it seems they were disappointed by the closure of their favorite Chinese restaurant and weren't ready to give this place a fair shot. We've also lost a beloved restaurant and have been searching for a year, and I'm happy to say we've found our new go-to spot with 5 Fong Chef. This place is under new ownership. Ordered crab Rangoon, egg rolls and some BBQ pork fried rice. The Rangoon was good but they weren't filled, maybe a tsp of filling and crust was very hard. The egg rolls were ok. The rice wasn't the greatest, novegetables, just sprouts and green onions. Barely any eggs and super greasy. And there was no BBQ on the pork even though themenu stated BBQ. I don't know if the quality was because I ordered 40 mins before closing.... I'll try again maybe....hopefullyI get a better result. But not anytime soon.

The food here is a fantastic highlight! First off, I’m so glad they offer kimchi—it's absolutely delightful! Additionally, while egg drop soup is typically rather mild, this version is the most flavorful I've ever tasted (though I haven't dined at any Michelin-starred restaurants!). The restaurant itself is clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly. Most importantly to me, none of their seafood dishes have that off-putting taste that can indicate they’re not fresh. The shrimp and scallops consistently taste fresh! I honestly wouldn’t know what to do if this place ever shut down.

The food at this restaurant is outstanding, with great prices and generous portions. The service was both prompt and attentive. I tried the shrimp fried rice, which was flavorful and packed with fresh vegetables and perfectly cooked shrimp. The orange chicken had a delightful crispy exterior and was juicy on the inside. The chicken chop suey came in such a large portion that it easily fed my entire family. Overall, it’s an excellent restaurant where everyone left feeling satisfied and full. I’d give it a perfect 10/10 and highly recommend it to friends, family, or anyone in the area. This is truly the best Chinese food in Orland Park, and I will definitely be returning many more times!
