"I've never been to a diner or restaurant where someone helicopters in and grabs breakfast. That totally happened while visiting @flightdeckdiner in Cape May. How cool is that? Not only can you get a good, simple breakfast at a very reasonable price, but it's an awesome spot for kids too. Model airplanes are hanging from the ceilings, and police badges from pretty much every NJ town are displayed on a wall. Service was fast, table turnover was quick, and once again, everything we ate was good! My plate came with 3 eggs any way I wanted them, home fries, a protein of choice (I chose scrapple), and a couple of pancakes. The other dish is a veg omlette with home fries (also came with toast). I wish I had a chance to try the creamed chipped beef, hopefully next time! Watch some planes take off and land while drinking your diner styled coffee and eat a classic affordable breakfast in Cape May! When you're done, you can even swing by @capemaybrewco for a 6 pack!"

I really enjoy the distinctive atmosphere at this place. Situated inside the Cape May airport, diners at the Flight Deck Diner can catch a glimpse of some retired planes as well as watch others take off and land. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. View menu

Typical diner food. Nothing over the top. But the wait staff was awful. She didn't even say hello, just greeted us with drinks..... Didn't express what drinks they have etc. This was towards the end of the day and the diner was half full so it couldn't be that she was too busy to say hello....

This is a frequent spot for us, never miss when we are in Villas! Great, tasty breakfast. Super fast service once seated. Usually a wait in season, but not too bad. Tiny spot on the airfield, cute old diner with airplane theming. You can watch prop planes take off and land. This time we were not seated in the main dining area which was a bummer. The room is basically a waiting area. Breakfast is my favorite meal and food does not disappoint. My son lives the Bi-wing 222. 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, 2 bacon. My fav is the Italian omelette.
