"I was taken here, being told I'd have the best fried grouper sandwich of my life. Let me tell you...I can't even think about any other kind of seafood sandwich. I won't even entertain the idea of ever having a fried grouper sandwich anywhere else. It was steaming hot, fresh and delicious. I can't wait to go back soon and eat there again! The atmosphere is tight. You walk in and sign your name on a pad of paper and wait for it to be called. There's not much room in terms of waiting area but don't let that run you off..you have to stay. They seemed to be a little under staffed the day we were there because the servers were constantly running but that didn't bother me like it would have other places. The restaurant is quaint and old and the perfect little beach shack you where you can get the freshest seafood around!"

I love the Rockaway grill, it's also a must visit when I come to Clearwater 2-3 times a year. Ever now and then we have to go to one of the other locations and I will say the Cafe is the second best of the four.

Awesome food! Our waiter Scott was an amazing salesman! He knew the menus and what to recommend. Only one downer! No alcohol in the mixed drinks, however that seems to be a Florida thing! So stick to beer or wine.

Hostess said there was a 20 minute wait for the two of us on a busy Sunday night but it was only about 3 minutes. The server was okay and the food came out quickly. My husband had the stuffed grouper that he said was very, very good, I had a seafood entree I can't remember the name with scallops, shrimp, grouper and an amazing crab cake. Every year, we make sure to stop by Frenchy's The Original when we visit Clearwater, and this time was no exception. We had a fantastic experience, especially sitting at the crowded bar on a Monday. Our bartender and waitress, Sam, did an excellent job balancing the busy atmosphere and still took the time to chat with us about our stay. The food was delicious and the service was top-notch. Thank you, Sam, for managing a hectic restaurant and making sure your customers felt welcomed and served promptly.

Been coming to Frenchy’s Original for 35 years since I used to live on the beach many moons ago! We try and come back to visit when we are in Florida. My mom wanted to go for her 75th birthday and as usual it didn’t disppoint! The staff is always fun and friendly! The Crabby Shrimp sandwich is still our favorite, it’s always good! The peel and eat shrimp are always crisp and perfect! Tried the crab fries, they were a delight! Hope to come again next year! We were in Clearwater for 4 days and ate here for 3!
