"This place is fantastic! Everything we’ve had from here is dynamite. The chelamarones are deliciously spiced shrimp wrapped in crispy bacon. The El Cazador sampler, is an array of fried burritos, nachos, quesadillas and pure flavor explosion. My son’s favorite dish is the Del Mar Special. It’s scallops, shrimp, crab, and tilapia in a sauce that is so cheesy and rich. My favorite is the chicken soft tacos, on flour tortillas. They have an amazing spicy sauce that really brings the heat. Also don’t forget to try the queso with chorizo it’s a must have. The chille relleno’s are fabulous too, and they’re really big. This place is definitely priced perfectly for all."

"They had a new cook, which is fine and understandable. However, both of our steaks that we ordered with our pasta ...were cooked to death. I'm only really upset about the fact that the waitress acknowledged that the steak was overcooked and asked if we wanted new ones we didn't because we had already been waiting which was also fine but we weren't waiting another 20-30mins . I said we would eat them we did, soooo tough I'm just upset that they didn't offer to at least take the cost of the steak off. We didn't complain and we still tipped but I probably won't be back unfortunately. Hopefully things get better."

"I really wish I could give OC Prime a rating of 4 stars, but their failure to honor our reservation deserves just 1 star. I made a reservation for four people at 7:30 a week in advance. We arrived at 7, checked in with the host, and sat at the bar for a cocktail. I confirmed our reservation with the host again when the whole party arrived around 7:20, and I checked in once more at 7:40 and 8:00. Thankfully, the bartender stepped in and served us at the bar, but the rude host who was supposed to seat us was no help whatsoever. When I last inquired with the host, he claimed he had called my name twice, which was a blatant lie. Our party was sitting just 15 feet away from the host station at the bar, and we made eye contact every time he walked by. I regret not being more assertive in this situation. The food was decent, but the wine prices were marked up by 300%."

"The quality of food has really declined, and the poor service only adds to the disappointment. The fries were served cold, and my soda was mainly just melted ice. During my last two visits, even when there were only three people ahead of me, it took over 15 minutes to get two orders of fries, two burgers, two drinks, and two malts. There’s no reason for such a long wait. If they’re going to charge for their meals, at the very least they should have staff deliver the food to the tables after seating. Something needs to change; the service is simply unacceptable now! I doubt I'll get a response to this review, as they seem to only reply to five-star ratings. It’s disheartening that they won’t acknowledge their mistakes and work on improving the customer experience."
