"When I used to live nearby, I would visit this restaurant 3-4 times a week after school. Now that I live much farther away, I always try to stop by whenever I'm in the area. However, I'm starting to rethink that decision. They often forget one or two items (like sauces or broiled onion jalapeños), which I usually don't mind. But today, I ordered 2 fish tacos and 4 carnitas and, foolishly, left a 15% tip. Instead of getting what I ordered, I received only 2 fish tacos and 2 carnitas. Since my remote work starts at noon, it doesn't even make sense for me to drive 30 minutes just to retrieve the 2 carnitas I paid for. While the food is still good, I’m seriously reconsidering my patronage because the staff tends to forget a lot. I know mistakes happen, but it’s really frustrating. Shouldn't I be able to trust that I'll get everything I've paid for? It feels like we all need to double-check these days. What a strange time we live in!"
