"My friend was visiting from out of state and she said that she wanted a really nice restaurant where the food was excellent. I immediately thought of the General Warren Inn because I have enjoyed delicious meals here, even in an igloo. I had a great pumpkin martini and my friend had a nice blended red wine. We both ordered the Beef Wellington and we were both disappointed in the flavor since it did not have the flavor that we expected. It did not have any mushroom flavor and when we asked the waiter about the flavor, he said that they prepare it differently than the usual way. It would have been nice if the waiter had said something to us when we ordered it, especially since it was the most expensive entree on the menu. I was more disappointed for my friend because I have always loved my meals at the General Warren Inn."

Always the best. Husband and son had veal and lobster stew. They say, it was really good. I had butter chicken which was yummy.

The food was excellent, as well as the service. The only complaint was that it took a bit of time for the cocktails to arrive from the bar, but it wasn’t a terrible problem.

Excellent food, cold beer, great service. Only issue was a very loud table nearby celebrating a birthday. Laughing is fine, uncontrollable cackling is a bit too much. Very inconsiderate, but not the fault of the restaurant. Adding a Wheat beer would round out the beer selection too!

The menu is extremely limited. We booked outdoors but they goofed up and had to sit inside. The manager told me there was only one menu but that wasn't true. They do have a bar menu which is why I booked the reservation. Service was slow even though they weren't busy. I just think it's dated.
