"If you're new to the area, make sure to visit George's. You'll feel like a local in no time! It's the best spot for a traditional breakfast! Sure, there are some trendy, upscale places that are nice to try occasionally, but George's is the go-to place you can count on every day before work, even if it's just for a cup of coffee—it really sets a positive tone for the entire day. Peter, the owner, is always on the move, whether he's clearing tables or grilling in the kitchen. And Miranda, the head server, is a force of nature! She makes sure everything runs smoothly."

We were traveling from Florida to Ontario. Stopped for breakfast here. All of us liked the place. Great service and food. Wish we could live here to come more often

The food and service is very good but it was too filthy to enjoy. The utensil basket had crumbs and a coffee stain in it, the syrup container had eggs and other food on both sides. I don't trust how places are run when they're this filthy.

My husband and I had breakfast at this restaurant. They offer a special for two that includes two eggs, your choice of grits or hashbrowns, and either toast or a biscuit. The food was delicious, the restaurant was clean, and the service was excellent. View menu

Awesome food, this place is always busy. My opinion, always busy is a great big 5 star review without words! The wait staff is awesome as well! Definitely a must try for locals or travelers. Very close to the highway. Stop in and have a great meal, breakfast or lunch!!!

During my vacation, I was on the hunt for a breakfast spot that wasn't just another chain restaurant. Choosing this place turned out to be the best decision I made that day! The food was excellent, the menu offered a great variety, and the coffee was top-notch. The staff was incredibly friendly as well…

"Outstanding curry! Authentic Thai food all the way.. The first bit of advice I have for anyone considering Thai food in Columbia is that Mai Thai is the only way to go. This small, family-run restaurant is the best Thai food within a hour and a half drive of the capital city. Ignore the outside of the store and the strip mall that houses it, this place houses some of the best, freshest, most complex flavors in the city.<br/ <br/ To start with the appetizer, definitely try the spring rolls. Whether you go for the vegetarian (my favorite, and inexpensive enough that I often order two) or the outstanding house rolls which include shrimp and pork, these are so good you should never pass them up. They're clearly handmade and hand-rolled, fried crispy, then served with a simple sauce that brings out the flavor. I don't often order appetizers when I go to a restaurant, but these are definitely worth it. <br/ <br/ For entrees, I would advise anyone in the world to try the curries here. The gang Massamun (Massamun curry) is just out of this world. I've had it multiple times with chicken and with tofu, and both incarnations are consistently fantastic. The gang Panang (Panang curry) is equally good. Seriously, when in doubt get the curry here. As an added bonus, the curries aren't just flavorful, the chef will really up the hotness factor if you ask them to. I'm used to ordering curries as hot as the restaurant makes them, because I learned to love curry in India and it's the very rare restaurant in the States that will actually crank up the heat on a curry. Mai Thai will. If you tell them you want it hot, they'll give you heat, but there isn't any lost flavor. I appreciate that, because it's the mark of a cook who really knows how to mix his spices. You won't find that level of mastery in any other Thai place in the Columbia area. On the same note, if you tell them you don't want it hot, they can give you all the flavor with very little heat. My mother hates anything spicy, but loves their gang Massamun on the mildest setting. <br/ <br/ If curry isn't your thing, they do a really good crispy duck, several great shrimp dishes, and an amazing whole grouper that's tender and flaky and delicate served in a Thai chili sauce that isn't so much spicy as just really flavorful. <br/ <br/ The ingredients here, including vegetables, seafood, and fish, are always super-fresh and change seasonally to reflect what's available and fresh at the time. The prices are very reasonable, and are comparable to what you might pay at an Applebee's or a Chili's for vastly inferior food. This place is great. The only warning I have is that the small dining room can get very crowded on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights, since the locals have long since figured out how good the food is and are willing to wait for a table. They do offer a take-out option, though, so if you know what you want to order that's the way to go during their busy nights."
