"First time eating at Krebs we order the Valentine’s Day menu, the beef carpaccio was very good, the Petite Tenderloin was tough and under seasoned, the Raspberry tart filling was delicious but the tart itself was rock hard couldn’t be broken apart with the fork provided, our Waiter seemed very rushed and it was a burden we were there, the other serving help was very nice and would hold quick conversation, the homemade bread was very good, they also have a nice selection on nonalcoholic drinks"

"We went over to Doug's fish fry during the Dickens In The Village. We came in a day earlier on a Friday. But since I have a mobility problem and meters were taken we decided to try Saturday.... which was even worse as far as parking goes. My husband parked at a partnering place in Skaneatlus since we were staying at the Skaneatlus suites. He dropped me off at the door before he proceeded on parking. Doug's reminds me of Arther teachers fish and chips in the way you go up to the counter to choose on the menu and order. You also pick up the order when it's ready. I have to say it was hardly any waiting for the order. Fish and onion dinner was 5 star. Huge portions and good onion rings fish was good. Deep fried. Gumbo small order wasn't up to par... not what is expected from souther flair gumbo. Shrimp was small the type you happen to find in the frozen department. Cleanliness was up to par as well as only a few minute wait for oder to be completed. Counter service was fast and kind. Resturant clean with plenty of seating"

"Visited for a graduation dinner at the recommendation of friends. The host staff were very accommodating in helping us make a reservation and seating us on the main floor when they saw we had several in our party with limited mobility.The food was generally very good to excellent. The bruschetta appetizer was the star of the evening and the fresh bread very good. The entrees ranged from boringly ok (pork) to terrific (farfalle). The service was almost excellent. For example, when we asked about take-out biscotti, the request was gladly filled and even extended by giving us all the broken pieces we were told they could not be sold, so why not. On the other, the server disappeared for long periods and no drink refills, other than water, were offered.I'd lean toward 4.5 but because the food and service were occasionally uneven, and the place was ridiculously noisy (the very loud strolling musicians got really old really fast), I'll give it a 4."

"We sat outside because it was a beautiful evening and inside was very loud and crowded. Our server, Heidi, was very helpful, friendly, pleasant and professional. "Absolutely fantastic! This was our first visit since the COVID-19 pandemic, and it certainly won't be our last. We dined with our daughter and granddaughter, and we all enjoyed a wonderful meal. Danny, our server, was excellent and ensured that we were well taken care of. My halibut special was delicious, my wife's tenderloin was cooked to perfection, and our daughter’s scallops were spot on. I had a generous portion, but I still found room for dessert, as did the others. I left with a stomach ache, but it was the kind of ache you don't mind at all. Our granddaughter loved trying bites from our plates—she kept reaching for more, so I assume she enjoyed it! We also appreciated how attentive the staff were to our daughter's celiac needs. We'll definitely be returning soon."
